“The Original Red Skins”

Posted: July 3, 2020 in Evolution, Salvation, Tribulation

It may surprise you to know that our original ancestors had red skin. “Adam” means red. [1] God formed man out of the (red) dust of the ground, and breathed into him the breath of lives – physical and spiritual (Genesis 2:7). He was made in the image of God (Genesis 2:26, 27) but that image was marred when Eve and Adam ate the forbidden fruit (Genesis 3:7-11; 5:3; See 1 Corinthians 15:49).

We inherited a sinful nature (disposition) from them and we will pass it on to our descendants (Psalm 51:5; 1 John 1:8). Most of the sins we commit stem from this nature (Galatians 5:19-21). Sin is lawlessness (1 John 3:4). It’s increasing (2 Timothy 3:1 ff). That is why we need a new nature from God (John 3:7; 2 Peter 1:4).

You may believe in the theory of evolution if you want, but it’s only a theory and a poor one at that. [2] Charles Darwin, Margaret Sanger, Adolph Hitler and many others were and are eugenicists and racists. This philosophy has led to the murder of over 100 million people in the last 150 years. Millions of babies have been aborted too. Even to this day there are people being bought and sold as slaves and it will continue until Christ returns after the seven years of Tribulation (Revelation 18:13; See Daniel 9:27).

Melanin. It determines the many shades of our skin but it has nothing to do with whether or not Christ died for us and our sins or not. Those who believe in “limited atonement” (i.e. that Christ only died for a select group of people) have great difficulty presenting the Gospel to lost people and offering hope to them. If they are to be honest, they must say, Perhaps Christ died for you.” “Maybe God so loved you.” “Christ shed His blood for you, perhaps.” “Salvation has been provided for you, maybe.” [3]

No, Christ died for the sins of all mankind; He was buried for three days and nights and then rose again bodily from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:3, 4). Those who place their faith and trust in Him alone (and not their good works – Ephesians 2:9; Titus 3:5) will spend eternity with God in heaven. Those who don’t will spend eternity with the devil and his angels/demons in the lake of fire (Matthew 25:41, 46; Revelation 21:8).

When all whom God the Father has given to the God the Son have come to Christ and been saved, Jesus will come back for His own (those who have believed in/on Him) and take us to the place that He has been preparing for us (John 6:37; 14:1-3; Revelation 21:9 ff). These people, from the Day of Pentecost to the Rapture, make up the members in the spiritual “Body of Christ” (1 Corinthians 12:12, 13).

Friend, you won’t want to be left behind and enter the seven years of the Tribulation that may be just around the corner (Read Revelation 6-19). Do you know what the next event on God’s calendar is? Are your ready for it? Ask for our FREE “Dispensations Chart.” [4]

My desire/purpose in life is to glorify God by making Him known to others (1 Corinthians 10:31). I can do this by making sure of my own salvation (2 Peter 1:10; 1 John 5:13), by growing spiritually so others can see my life being transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit (2 Peter 3:18; Galatians 5:22, 23), by using my “spiritual gift” with love to edify other believers (1 Peter 4:10; Galatians 5:13), and by pointing others to Christ and sharing with them the unadulterated Gospel so they can be saved (Acts 1:8; Matthew 28:19, 20).  I hope that this is your purpose too.

Our problem is not the amount of melanin we have but a sin problem. [5] We’ve all sinned and come short of God’s standard (Romans 3:10, 23). We all deserve to be eternally separated from God in the lake of fire (Romans 6:23). We all need Christ’s righteousness if we want to enter heaven (John 16:10). He was perfect and never sinned (Hebrews 4:15). His righteousness will be put to your account the moment you place your faith and trust in Him alone to save you (Romans 4:24, 25). You will be judicially forgiven (Ephesians 1:7). No longer will/can you be condemned (Romans 8:1). You will be eternally secure (John 10:28, 29; Ephesians 1:13). However, this doesn’t give you a license to sin (See Hebrews 12:5 ff).

Every Christian’s concern should include the salvation of his/her unsaved neighbors (Luke 19:10; 1 Timothy 2:4). If you’re saved, when was the last time you shared the “Clear Gospel” with another person for whom Christ died? Could you share the Gospel with 24 words? [6]

Friend, we may be coming to the end of our “constitutional republic.” The United States is not specifically mentioned in Bible prophecy as many other nations are. We also may be coming to the end of the “Dispensation of Grace” (Ephesians 3:2 ff). Do you know what the future looks like (1 Corinthians 15:51, 52)? [4]
