“Preppers – For Time Or Eternity?”

Prepper = a person who believes a catastrophic disaster or emergency is likely to occur in the future and makes active preparations for it, typically by stockpiling food, ammunition, and other supplies.

My question – If you’re a “prepper,” are you preparing for time or for eternity? If you want to survive here on earth, for how many years ahead should you prepare? I’ve been told that one of the cults tells its people that they need to have two years of supplies stashed away. But what if hard times last for seven years as the Bible predicts (Daniel 9:27)? What preparations are you making for eternity? Will it be in heaven or hell? What you believe about Christ will determine your destiny. [1]

Uber-rich.” I’ve read that many of them are “preppers” who are storing and stockpiling things for hard times. [2] But if they are “left behind” and enter the “Seven years of the Tribulation” and face the Lamb’s (Christ’s) wrath, they will cry out to the mountains and rocks to hide them from what’s coming on them and the whole world.

Seal Judgment. During the sixth seal judgment this will happen. “And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!’” (Revelation 6:15-17).

Bowl Judgment. During the seventh bowl judgment, this is going to happen, “And great hail from heaven fell upon men, each hailstone about the weight of a talent [75-100 pounds]. Men blasphemed God [instead of begging for mercy] because of the plague of the hail, since that plague was exceedingly great” (Revelation 16:21).

Evacuation. You won’t want to be here, and you don’t have to be here on earth during this time. True Christians will be delivered from the wrath of the Lamb (referring to Christ) that it coming (1 Thessalonians 1:10; 4:13-17; 5:9; Revelation 3:10). You can become a Christian by believing on the Lord Jesus Christ alone, Who died for your sins, was buried for three days and nights, and then rose again bodily from the dead. We are NOT saved by our good works (Ephesians 2:8, 9; Titus 3:5). [2]
