Necromancy is defined as the conjuring of the spirits of the dead for purposes of magically revealing the future or influencing the course of events.” [1] “Man’s interest in the future is legendary, and many prophets – true and false – have tried to satisfy that interest. Prophecy is a risky business because you can’t stay in business if you have too many failures.” – Dr. Charles Ryrie [2]. Furthermore, false prophets in Old Testament times were to be stoned to death (Deuteronomy 13:1-11; 18:20-22).

With all the trouble going on all over the world today wouldn’t you like to know what the future looks like? I believe most of us would like to know more about it so we can make plans for ourselves and our children and to calm our fears. But where can we find a consistent, reliable source?

To draw crowds to themselves and their “ministries” there are false prophets and teachers today who resort to consulting with the dead and/or claim that God is still giving them new revelation/information for them to pass on to others. Of course, there is a price attached. Such is the case with many who associate themselves with the New Apostolic Reformation and some other groups. [3]

In the Old Testament times, King Saul, the first king of Israel, tried to consult with the dead through the witch who lived in Endor. He wanted her to summon the Prophet Samuel concerning the future because the Holy Spirit had departed from him and an evil spirit (1 Samuel 16:14), who came from heaven, was afflicting him (1 Samuel 28; See 1 Kings 22:22, 23; Ephesians 6:12 ff).

Surprisingly, the witch was able to rouse Samuel and bring him up. But Samuel rebuked King Saul and told him of his impending death (1 Samuel 28:19). David, the king elect, had witnessed King Saul’s rage when an evil spirit tormented him. Saul tried to kill him on several occasions (1 Samuel 18:10, 11). Later, when King David himself sinned, and repented for his adultery with Bathsheba, he begged God not to take His Holy Spirit from him (Psalm 51:11).

By the way, while God the Holy Spirit won’t leave a true Christian today, and Christians can’t be indwelt by a demon (1 Corinthians 3:16; 6:19), demons can afflict and torment Christians (2 Timothy 2:24-26; See Job 1; 2; Ephesians 6:10-17). [4]

There are false prophets and false teachers today who claim that they have consulted with the dead to get power and “the anointing” for themselves. According to one source, Benny Hinn talks about his visits to the tombs of Aimee Semple McPherson and Kathryn Kuhlman. [5]

Jesus, while He was here on earth, told His listeners a story about what happens when people die. This was before He Himself died for our sins…and rose again from the dead (Luke 16:19-31).

A rich man (who was an unbeliever) died, and a beggar named Lazarus (a believer) died. Both of them were taken to Sheol/Hades in the heart of the earth. (See John 3:13; Ephesians 4:8-10.)

The rich man, with his temporary body to house his soul and spirit, was in torments on one side of the gulf. The beggar, Lazarus was resting on the Paradise side of the gulf in the presence of Abraham and other believers. The rich man begged Abraham to let Lazarus dip his finger in water to drop it on his tongue because he was in torment. Since that wasn’t possible, the rich man asked that Lazarus be sent back to earth to warn his five brothers not to come to that awful place.

But that too was not possible. He was told that if the people, who were still alive on earth, didn’t believe what Moses had written, neither would they believe if someone came back from the dead to warn them.

Suppose men like Adolph Hitler, Mao Zedong, Joseph Stalin, Karl Marx, Saul Alinsky, Charles Darwin, or other unbelievers were able to come back from the dead to warn people not to believe the lies they had promoted while they were here on earth. Would they be believed? Not according to Jesus.

Nowhere does Jesus speak about second chances to be saved after one dies physically (See Hebrews 9:27). Neither is there such a thing as reincarnation taught in the Scriptures.

“Now is the day of salvation” (2 Corinthians 6:2). “Do not boast about tomorrow, For you do not know what a day may bring forth” (Proverbs 27:1). “…For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away” (James 4:14).

If you’ve never done so before, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ alone, who died for your sins…and rose again bodily from the dead on their third day, and you will be saved” (Acts 16:31; 1 Corinthians 15:3, 4).

Have you been saved by God’s grace through faith in Christ, apart from your good works (Ephesians 2:8,9; Titus 3:5; Isaiah 64:6)? Do you have assurance of your salvation (Romans 8:16; 1 John 5:13; John 10:28, 29)? If so, God wants you to grow spiritually (1 Peter 2:2; 2 Peter 3:18), to serve Him by serving others, especially Christians, with love (Galatians 5:13; 6:10; 1 Corinthians 13; 1 Peter 4:10), and to bear a good witness for Christ while sharing the clear Gospel with unbelievers so they can be saved (Acts 1:8; Romans 10:9-17).

While we don’t know all the details of things that will happen in the future (See Revelation 10:4), God has given to us enough information to give us a sure hope, which is a confident expectation based on a promise or promises from God (Romans 15:4).

[6] Order https://kelseypeach.wordpress.com/2016/02/20/the-order-of-coming-events-2/

Far too many Christians, who claim to believe that Jesus will come back to earth as He said He would (John 14:1-3), don’t love His appearing.” As a result, they won’t earn the “Crown of Righteousness” (2 Timothy 4:8). When you truly love someone, you want to please him/her and do the right things. If you claim to be a Christian, when was the last time you even thought about Him and His return for you?

In the “energy of their own flesh” (Romans 8:8) many of these same people often do their own brand of “good works” that they want to do rather than the “good works” that God planned for them to do while they are here on earth (Ephesians 2:10; 1 Peter 4:10). They aren’t “led by the Holy Spirit” (Romans 8:14), and they don’t “walk by [means of] the Spirit” (Galatians 5:16, 25). So they give in to the strong desires (lusts) that come from their own sin nature (See Romans 7:15-25; 1 John 1:8) and engage in the sinful “works of the flesh” (Galatians 5:19-21). Divine chastening may be necessary (Hebrews 12: 5 ff) if confession isn’t timely (1 John 1:9; Proverbs 28:13).

Most people work for someone else. Suppose you went to work and did whatever it was that you wanted to do rather than what the owner wanted you to do. How long do you think he would keep you employed? The owner needs to make a profit so he can pay you a salary. His customers are really the ones who enable him to sign your paycheck. This is why we need to do quality work that will keep customers satisfied and bring them back for additional products and/or services. (See Ephesians 6:5-8).

In like manner, Christians should do their work on earth as unto the Lord so they can be well pleasing to God because one day all of us will stand before Judge Jesus to give an account of what we did on earth (John 5:22; 2 Corinthians 5:9, 10; Romans 14:12). He will judge our works (not us – Romans 8:1) to determine their quality. If they are like gold, silver, and precious stones, we will be rewarded. If they are like wood, hay, and straw, they will be burned up without our losing our salvation (1 Corinthians 3:11-15).

The Lord’s imminent return is called a “Blessed Hope” (Titus 2:13), a “Comforting Hope” (1 Thessalonians 4:18), and a “Purifying Hope” (1 John 3:3). This “Hope” is not wishful thinking, but a confident expectation based on the promises of God who cannot lie (Titus 1:2).

The “Rapture” of the true Church was a mystery in the Old Testament (1 Corinthians 15:51, 52; See Romans 16:25, 26). But once it was revealed to spiritually maturing believers, it is no longer a mystery, and shouldn’t be mysterious to Christians. When we interpret the Scriptures normally, historically, grammatically, and contextually we can gain a clearer picture of the Word of God and the future. [1] We believe in the “Pre-tribulation Rapture” of the true Church (not the apostate church – See Revelation 17, 18). Our FREE “Understanding The Times Dispensations Chart” has been helpful to many Christians. (Ask about it.)

We are much more likely to make better decisions in life when we keep the imminent return of the Lord in mind (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). What would you do differently if you really believed that the Lord would return this evening or that today might be your last day on earth? How would your plans change? God’s wisdom is available to every Christian when we ask Him for it (James 1:5 ff). Those Christians who pursue the philosophy and wisdom of this world will have their works burned up (Colossians 2:8; James 3:13-18).

To spiritually maturing Christians, the Apostle John wrote, Do not love the world [system] or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of [for] the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever” (1 John 2:15-17; See 2 Peter 3:10 ff).

“The [cosmos] as a system includes all unsaved mankind under Satan as its ruler. It consists of society with its culture, commerce, education, entertainments, religions, governments, armies and senseless warfare. It is based on greed, idolatry, selfishness, religious superstitious awe, heresy and the constant striving for power. It is all society at its best and at its worst.” – Dr. H. L. Schafer [2] (See Luke 11:50, 51; Genesis 4:16-24).

The primary purpose of every Christian is/should be to glorify God by making Him known to those around us by any and every legitimate means (1 Corinthians 10:31; 2 Timothy 2:5) as we are led by God the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:14). This includes our sharing the Gospel [3] clearly with lost people so they can place their faith and trust in the Christ of the Scriptures alone and be saved. The false Christs of the cults and a perverted gospel can’t save anyone (2 Corinthians 11:4, 13-15; See Matthew 24:5.)  All unbelievers, who die physically in unbelief, will be cast into the lake of fire where they will suffer forever (Matthew 25:41, 46; John 16:8-11). “[God] desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth” (1 Timothy 2:4). He died once and for all (Romans 6:10; Hebrews 10:10) for the sins of the whole world (John 3:16; 1 Timothy 4:10; 2 Peter 2:1; 1 John 2:2). But judicial forgiveness is only granted to those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, who died for our sins…and rose again bodily on the third day (Ephesians 1:7; Acts 16:31; 1 Corinthians 15:3, 4). Have you done this yet? If not, why not now? If you have, will you help us spread the Gospel to others?

Once a person has been saved, Spirit filled believers (Ephesians 5:18; Galatians 6:1) need to help the new believer grow in the sphere of grace (1 Peter 2:2; 2 Peter 3:18). They need to be taught about serving God with their spiritual gift (Romans 12; 1 Corinthians 12-14; Ephesians 4:11; 1 Peter 4:10). Reproduction is/should be an important goal of every believer until the Lord takes us home through death or the Rapture (Matthew 28:19, 20; Mark 16:15).

We’re here to assist those who are teachable and willing to change (2 Timothy 2:2, 15; 3:16, 17). If you have questions and/or comments, we can be reached through our website: www.kelseypeach.com. If you’ve found this helpful, please SHARE this with others too.

Over many centuries people have asked themselves these questions: “Where did I come from?” “Why I am here on earth?” “Where will I go when I die?” They also want to know if there ever will be lasting “peace on earth.” If so, when and how will it come?

Many rich and powerful people in the secular world, who hate God and His Messiah/Christ (Psalm 2), say that peace will come only after they bring in their “New World Order” that will consist of a one world government, a one world religion, and a one world economic system. They want people to gullibly sing John Lennon’s song, “Imagine” while thinking that socialism/communism is the best form of government. It isn’t, but it’s better than anarchy and lawlessness (1 John 3:4; Romans 13:1 ff).

Contrary to what many people think, the secular globalists have other thoughts in mind, where there is the ruling class, and the servant class as it is in communist countries today. They have specific guidelines to achieve their objectives and to maintain them. (Consider the Georgia Guide Stones.) [1] The Bible predicts that these things will happen one of these days – perhaps much sooner than most people realize. It’s time to be informed with the truth that can set people free (John 8:32; 14:6; 17:17).

In his well written book entitled, “What On Earth Is God Doing?” the late Dr. Renald Showers talks about “Earth’s Golden Age.” He wrote, “When [the Lord Jesus Christ] establishes the theocratic kingdom [here on earth, which will last for 1,000 years, He] will begin to reverse many of the tragic consequences of man’s rebellion in Eden. He will make all animals tame again (Isaiah 11:6-9; 65;25), heal all diseases and deformities (Isaiah 33:24; 35:5, 6); eliminate hazards (Ezekiel 34:25-29); increase the lifespan of man (Isaiah 65:20, 22); cause a great abundance of trees and fruit (Isaiah 55:13; Ezekiel 47:12; Joel 2:21, 22), fish (Ezekiel 47:9, 10), and grain and wine (Joel 2:24; Amos 9:13); control the environment for the benefit of man (Ezekiel 34:26, 27); heal the effects of pollution (Ezekiel 47:1-12); and abolish war and injustice (Isaiah 2:2-4; 9:6, 7; 11:2-5; Jeremiah 23:5; Micah 4:1-3; Zechariah 9:9-10). All of these changes will constitute what Christ and Peter called ‘the regeneration,’ the ‘seasons of refreshing,’ and ‘the times of restoration of all things’ (Matthew 19:28; Acts 3:19-21). Truly, this will be the present earth’s golden age.” [2] Believe it or not, according to the Scriptures, these days could come to this earth in as few as seven years from now [5]. You might ask, “Why not now?”

Prior to this “Golden Era,” the Scriptures teach that there will be a counterfeit “New World Order” that will be governed by the “unholy trinity” consisting of the devil/Lucifer, the man of sin/antichrist, and the false prophet. The man of sin/antichrist will perform the same kind of miracles that Christ and His disciples performed while there were here on earth (2 Thessalonians 2:1-12; Acts 2:22).

During this seven year period, known as the “Tribulation,” over ½ of the world’s population will die from 21 judgments and plagues that are recorded for us in the Book of Revelation chapters 6-19. The secular “Globalists” want to reduce the world’s population down to 500 million and maintain it there through eugenics. [1] Think about how many people will have to be eliminated. Will you be included in that number? We believe that just as the ten plagues that took place in Egypt in the days of Moses were literal, so the ones in the day of the future “Tribulation” will be literal too.

The Jewish and non-Jewish believers in the Lord Jesus Christ who physically survive this unparalleled time in human history will be the ones will who repopulate the “Golden Age.” Old Testament believers will be resurrected back to life with glorified bodies (Daniel 12:1 ff) and will live on the earth and have various duties (Matthew 19:28; Luke 19:17-19). King David will be resurrected and will rule over other kings on earth (Jeremiah 30:9; See Revelation 19:16). The New Testament Christians [3], as the “Bride of Christ,” will reign with Christ over the whole world from the heavenly New Jerusalem (Revelation 21:9 ff) which will be visible to the residents on earth once a day. This city will be the source of light for the earth for 1,000 years since the sun will go out at the end of the Great Tribulation (Matthew 24:29; Revelation 16:8 ff).

Prior to this awful time of Tribulation in human history, the Scriptures record for us Christ’s words concerning His coming back for true Christians whom He will take to heaven to live with Him forever (John 14:1-3; See 1 Corinthians 15:51, 52; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). This event is called “The Rapture.” It’s imminent (i.e. it can happen at any moment). It’s the next event on God’s calendar. We invite you to read about it and what may be in store for this world in the very near future [4] and about The Dangers of Date Setting. [5]

HELP. There is no doubt about it. We are live in perilous times (2 Timothy 3:1 ff). We’re here to assist those who are “teachable and willing to change” (2 Timothy 2:2, 15; 3:16, 17). [5] The Dangers of Date Setting, Dr. Manfred Kober, https://www.manfredkober.com/materials/articles/Is%20Date%20Setting%20Dangerous.pdf

The wicked men of this world who hate God and His children (Psalm 2; John 15:18; 16:2) are taking advantage of the current crisis to try to bring in their “One World Government, One World Religion, and a One World Economic System” that the Bible predicted would come. We all want peace on earth. But these unbelieving “antichrists” (1 John 2:18) think that they can bring peace to this earth without God’s help. The United Nations is a classic example of man’s attempts to bring in world peace. Some “Professing Christians” are trying to usher in Christ’s Kingdom on earth through social reforms and by cleaning up society first. Sorry, it won’t and can’t happen. Jesus said, “Without Me you can do nothing” (John 15:5).

Prior to the time when the Lord Jesus Christ sets up His literal kingdom on/over the earth (Daniel 2: 44, 45; Matthew 3:2; 4:17; 5:3, 10, 19), which will last for 1,000 years (Revelation 10:1-7), there will be another “man with a plan” whom God will permit to rule over the entire world for seven years (Daniel 9:27). If God allowed him to go on any longer, no flesh would survive on earth (Matthew 24:22). Over ½ of the world’s population will die during these seven years. Initially this man will have to share his power and authority with the 10 kings (rulers) from the revived Roman Empire (Daniel 2:41-43; 7:24; Revelation 17:12). But after 3 ½ years he will have complete domination over the whole world. He will demand that those who want to buy or sell things have his mark on their right hand or their forehead (Revelation 13:16, 17).

At this very moment, there is a multi-billionaire who is trying to develop a vaccine to combat the current corona virus. He is a eugenicist who wants everyone to get the vaccinations he’s having produced. He wants them to have a chip implanted with the vaccine that will enable these people to be tracked. They will need this chip if they want to engage in the business of buying or selling. We don’t believe that this particular person is the “man of sin” or the “antichrist” but his actions are a precursor of things to come.

Things aren’t falling apart; they are falling into place just as the Bible predicted they would. Have you ever wondered what the “Big Picture” from eternity past to eternity future looks like? We have a FREE Dispensations Chart which we’d like for your to have. [1] Would you like to know what the Scriptures teach about “The Order Of Things To Come”? This information that we’d like to share with you is the result of a normal, literal, historical, and contextual interpretation of the Bible, and not an allegorical interpretation that allows people to read into the Scriptures whatever they want it to say.

Here is our understanding of what we believe will take place once the Rapture of the “True Church” [2] (not the “Apostate Church”) takes place: https://kelseypeach.wordpress.com/2016/02/20/the-order-of-coming-events-2/ Please make some copies of this for yourself and for others who might be interested in Bible Prophecy. We also have written many articles on this and various other topics on our Blog on our website.

Help. We’re here to assist those who are teachable, willing to study God’s Word, and to change when they see what the Scriptures teach (2 Timothy 2:2, 15; 3:16, 17). Lord willing, we will have a live presentation of this information on Facebook soon. Looking over this material before we do this will enable you to get more out of our study of God’s Word.

[2] The True Church. It’s made up of Christians from the Day of Pentecost to the Rapture of the Church. These are people who have believed on the Lord Jesus Christ exclusively, who died for their sins…and who rose again bodily on the third day (Acts 16:31; 1 Corinthians 15:3, 4; Ephesians 2:8, 9). Do you belong to this group?  Contact us if you’d like more information.

Why bother trying to rescue those who hate you and who want to kill you? Why not let them suffer the natural and eternal consequences of their wicked behavior as it will be for Lucifer and the rebellious angels?

One of the reasons God the Son added a true human nature and a real body to His deity was to glorify God (make Him known) by seeking and saving those, among the human race, who were/are lost (John 1:29). But many people don’t realize that they are lost or that they are as bad off as they can be without God and the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior (Romans 3:10-23; 6:23). We’re helpless (Romans 5:6; John 15:5), hopeless (Ephesians 2:12), and hell bound (Romans 6:23; Matthew 25:41, 46).  Most people don’t believe this to be true.

God the Son came down to earth some 2,000 years ago through the womb of the virgin, Mary (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23). God the Father provided the seed which God the Holy Spirit miraculously implanted in her womb (Luke 1:32-35). Of course, those in Nazareth didn’t buy this story. Throughout His life people thought of His birth as illegitimate as it was expressed when Jesus was accused by the Jewish leaders of being born of fornication (John 8:41). Even to this day there are those who believe that Jesus was probably the illegitimate son of a German (Roman) soldier. Blasphemy!

His own brothers didn’t believe that He was the promised Messiah until after His bodily resurrection from the dead when He appeared to His half-brother, James (John 7:5; 1 Corinthians 15:7). They, including His own mother, thought He had gone insane when He gathered His 12 disciples to Himself (Mark 3:21). This, no doubt, fulfilled what was written about Him by the Prophet Isaiah where we’re told “…we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted” (Isaiah 53:4).

In spite of all the verbal abuse that He and His mother and step-father had to endure, He lived a sinless life (John 8:46; Hebrews 4:15). Only One who is sinless Himself, could die in our place for our sins and pay the debt that we owed to God (Romans 6:23; 1 Peter 3:18).

When most of the Jews rejected Him as their Messiah (John 1:11, 12; Luke 19:14; John 19:15), He temporarily changed His focus from being the Messiah for the Jews, to His becoming the Savior of all mankind, not just for the Jews (Matthew 16:20; 1 John 2:2; John 3:16). The provision He made to save us from eternal condemnation doesn’t guarantee our salvation. We must receive the gift of eternal life (God’s quality of life) by faith and not by our good works (John 1:12; Ephesians 2:8, 9; Titus 3:5).

But God hasn’t forgotten His unconditional promises to the Jews that He will one day step us His everlasting kingdom on/over the earth (Romas 11:1 ff; Isaiah 9:6, 7; 2 Samuel 7:12-14; Daniel 2:44, 45). It will be a literal kingdom with Christ and the true Church, His Bride, ruling over all the nations with a rod of iron (Psalm 2:9; Revelation 2:27; 12:5; 19:15).

Under Christ and the Church will be King David, who will be resurrected 75 days after the 7 years of the Tribulation (Daniel 12:12) He will be the regent on earth (Jeremiah 30:9). Under Him there will be other kings, lords, and righteous judges (Revelation 19:16; Isaiah 1:26).

You could know and have all the facts straight about His birth, life, death and resurrection for our sins, and His future return to this earth, and yet still be lost and headed for the lake of fire that was prepared for the devil and his angels/demons (Matthew 25:30, 41, 46; Revelation 21:8).

Not until you transfer your faith from yourself and your good works over to the Lord Jesus Christ alone, who died for your sins…and rose again bodily from the dead, will you be saved from eternal condemnation (Acts 16:31; 1 Corinthians 15:3, 4; Ephesians 2:8, 9; Romans 8:1).

If you’ve never done this before, why not believe on Him as your personal Savior today? We’re here to help those who are teachable and willing to change and who want to grow spiritually (2 Timothy 2:2, 15; 3:16, 17; 2 Peter 3:18).

“Some men die from shrapnel, others die in flames. But most men die inch by inch playing silly little games.” – Source unknown. Are you eagerly anticipating and loving Christ’s any moment return? If you are, you will live a more righteous life and earn the “Crown of Righteousness” (2 Timothy 4:8). Furthermore, the priorities of your life will probably change as you seek to glorify God by making Him know to those whom you encounter in life (1 Corinthians 10:31).

Wars. Throughout human history there have been wars. Are there any just reasons for going to war or should a Christian be a pacifist? What are human governments supposed to do? [1] Most wars stem from evil men wanting more and more for themselves at the expense of others. Christ’s half-brother wrote, Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures” (James 4:1-3). NKJV

Freedom. Most people want to be free from the tyranny of evil despots. They want to enjoy the freedom that we have in our country. Why do people, longing for freedom, gravitate to our country, not to socialist/communist countries where over a 100 million citizens in those countries have been murdered by their own leaders like Hitler, Stalin, Mao, and others?

Price. Many valiant soldiers lost their lives to secure and preserve the freedom that we still enjoy in our country. But we are only one election away from losing it all.

Trojan Horse. The enemies within our walls are a far greater danger to us than those who are without. Many of them look like we do, talk like we do, and work among us. And yet they are intent on undermining our country because they have a “utopian” world view that they think they can bring into existence. Consider this quote attributed to Henri Spaak, former Secretary General of NATO, What we want is a man of sufficient stature to hold the alliances of all people and to lift us out of the economic morass into which we are sinking. Send us such a man, and be he god or devil, we will receive him.”

N.W.O. Many well meaning people believe that we need a “New Word Order.” I’m one of them. But I hasten to say that I’m not one who longs for the “New World Order” that the wicked men of this world envision. I’m looking for the one that the Lord Jesus Christ will set up when He returns to this earth after the 7 years of Tribulation (Revelation 6-19; Isaiah 9:6, 7). Consider carefully the inscriptions on the “Georgia Guidestones.” [2]

Warning. God laughs at puny men who try to resist Him by setting up their own “New World Order” without Him (Psalm 2). God scattered those who were building the “Tower of Babel” and changed their languages (Genesis 11:4). Those who refuse to submit and bow the knee to God the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, will be crushed with His rod of iron (Revelation 2:27; 12:5; 19:15). One day every one will confess (admit) that He is God and that He shares an absolute equality with God the Father (Philippians 2:10, 11). These verses are NOT teaching the universal salvation of all men as some false teachers claim.

Children. While all of us descended from Adam and Eve (Acts 17:26), and then through Noah’s three sons, we are not all in the same spiritual family. Jesus made it very clear that we all started out our lives in the devil’s family (John 8:44; 1 John 3:9, 10). To enter into God’s family, we must be spiritually born again from above (John 3:3-7; 1 Peter 1:23). This takes place today when we believe on the Lord Jesus Christ alone, who died for our sins…and rose again bodily on the third day (Acts 16:31; 1 Corinthians 15:3, 4). It’s not merely knowing and believing the facts of the Gospel, but the transfer of our faith from ourselves and our brand of good works over to the Christ of the Scriptures alone (Ephesians 2:8, 9; Titus 3:5; Isaiah 64:6). The false Christs of the cults can’t save anyone (Matthew 24:5; 2 Corinthians 11:4, 13-15). Note: You haven’t proclaimed the Gospel that leads to a person’s salvation unless you have included, not only His death for our sins, but also the bodily resurrection of Christ (1 Corinthians 15:3, 4; Luke 24:36-39; Romans 1:16, 17; 4:25). [3] A dead Savior can’t help anyone.

Kingdom. When Jesus allowed Himself to be arrested, He said to Pilate, “My kingdom is not [out] of this world [system]. If My kingdom were [out] of this world [system], My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here” (John 18:36). Some people misunderstand this verse. From the Greek language, in which the New Testament was written, we learn that Jesus was telling Pilate that His literal kingdom on/over this earth would be different than the kingdoms of men on earth. It would have been set up on earth during Christ’s first coming if the Jews, as a whole, had accepted Him as their promised Messiah. But they didn’t (John 1:11, 12). Instead they had Him crucified by the Romans. However, God holds all mankind guilty of Christ’s death (Acts 4:27, 28; 5:29-32). This includes you and me.

Postponed. God must keep all His unconditional promises to the Jews. If He doesn’t, He’s a liar and we couldn’t be sure if He’d keep His promises to us as Christians either (See Romans 15:4). The Church hasn’t replaced the nation of Israel (Romans 11:1 ff). King David’s dynasty will be established here on earth after the seven years of the Tribulation (Daniel 9:27; 2 Samuel 7:12-16). He will be resurrected 75 days after the Tribulation is over (Daniel 12:12). He will be the primary regent on earth, under Christ and the true Church (Jeremiah 30:9). Underneath him there will be other kings and lords (Revelation 19:16) and righteous judges (Isaiah 1:26).

Prophecy. King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon was given a dream from God (Daniel 2). In it the world empires were portrayed by a man with a head of gold, a chest of silver, thighs of bronze, legs of iron, and 10 toes of iron and brittle clay. These represented the Babylonian empire, the Medo-Persian empire, the Grecian empire, the Roman empire, and the revived Roman empire (which seems to be forming today). But God let Nebuchadnezzar know that another kingdom would come to demolish man’s world empires. Then a completely new kind of government would be established in which the God-man, the Lord Jesus Christ, would set up His kingdom on/over the earth for 1,000 years (Daniel 2:44, 45; Revelation 20:1-10; Isaiah 2:4; 9:6, 7; 11:1 ff; 35:1 ff; etc).

Indicators. While there are no “sign miracles” that will proceed Christ’s coming in the Rapture (John 14:1-3; 1 Corinthians 15:51, 52; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18), there seems to be many indicators that point to it as the world looks for a leader to solve mankind’s problems and plans to set up a “New World Order” and a “One World Religion.” (See Revelation 13; 17; 18.) The Bible predicts these things are coming (2 Thessalonians 2:8-10; Revelation 13:1 ff).

In Hebrews 9:27 we read, …it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.” The first part of this verse is a general rule. The second phrase is an absolute. Not everyone will die physically. There have been a couple examples of this in the past (Enoch and Elijah) and there will be a whole generation of Christians who won’t die physically either (1 Corinthians 15:51, 52; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).

But all believers will face the Lord Jesus Christ someday to have our works evaluated to determine if we will or won’t receive crowns, rewards, and praise from God (1 Corinthians 3:11-15). At the end of Christ’s 1,000 reign on/over the earth, the deceased unbelievers will be raised from the dead and will stand before Him at the Great White Throne to have Him evaluate their works to determine their degree of suffering forever in the lake of fire (Matthew 25:30, 41, 46; Revelation 20:11-15; 21:8).

But you might ask, What must I do to be saved/delivered from the lake of fire? “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, who died for your sins…and rose again bodily on the third day” (Acts 16:31; 1 Corinthians 15:3, 4).

How can I know what God expects me to do as a believer? Where do I find this information? It’s found in the Bible. You might ask, Aren’t there different rules for different people in different times? Yes, there are. They are known as Dispensations – the house rules. Old Testament believers had different rules for living than Christians do today. Those living during Christ’s 1,000 reign on/over the earth will also have intensified legal rules to keep. (See our Dispensations Chart on our website.)

But imagine, for a moment, that you are back in school and you have to take a final exam to pass the course and to graduate. But suppose the teacher gave you, ahead of time, the questions that you would be asked. Would that help you? It should.

It may sound strange to some people that God would give His children the test questions before the final exam that we all will have to take when we stand before Him to have our works (not us) evaluated (2 Corinthians 5:10). But He does. This is true for the Jews, who were given the “Mosaic Law” and for the Church (the spiritual Body of Christ) that becomes His Bride (Ephesians 5:32; Revelation 19:7; 21:9; Galatians 6:2). Don’t confuse the two groups (1 Corinthians 10:32). God has separate plans for the nation of Israel and for the Church. We don’t believe that the Church has replaced Israel.

The judgments for believers will be to determine if we will be rewarded or not (Matthew 25:21-23; 1 Corinthians 3:11-15). The judgment of unbelievers will be to determine their degree of suffering forever in the lake of fire with the devil and his angels/demons (Matthew 11:24; 25:30, 41, 46; Revelation 20:11-15). One’s eternal destiny with God or apart from God is determined by his/her faith or lack of faith in God/Christ (John 3:16, 18, 36; Ephesians 2:8, 9; 1 Corinthians 15:3, 4). It is NOT based on one’s good works (Isaiah 64:6; Titus 3:5). At the “Bema seat judgment” Jesus, the omniscient One (John 2:24, 25; Isaiah 46:10), will determine the answers to these questions: (Some of these Bible references relate to the Jews, not to Christians. Similarity doesn’t mean identity.)

How did you treat others (Matthew 10:41-42; Galatians 5:13; Ephesians 4:32; Hebrews 6:10)?

How did you use your talents and your spiritual gift (Matthew 25:14-29; 1 Peter 4:10)?

How did you use the resources (time and money) I gave to you (Matthew 6:1-4; 1 Timothy 6:17-19)?

How did you endure personal injustice when mistreated (Matthew 5:11, 12; 1 Peter 4:12, 13)?

How did you endure suffering and trials (James 1:12; Revelation 2:10; 1 Thessalonians 5:18)?

How did you spend your time on earth (Psalm 90:9-12; Ephesians 5:16)?

How did you run the race I gave you to run (1 Corinthians 9:24; Hebrews 12:1)?

How did you keep your body under control (1 Corinthians 9:25-27; Ephesians 5:18)?

How often and why did you try to lead unbelievers to Me (Daniel 12:3; 1 Thessalonians 2:19, 20)?

How intensely did you love My imminent return (2 Timothy 4:8)?

How faithful were you to My Word and to other people (Acts 20:26-28; 2 Timothy 4:1, 2)?

How hospitable were you toward strangers (Matthew 25:35, 36; Hebrews 13:2)?

How faithful were you in your vocations/jobs (Colossians 3:22-24)?

How did you support the work of the Lord (Matthew 10:40-42; Galatians 6:6)?

How did you use your tongue (Matthew 12:36; James 3:1-12)?

Conclusion: Although there are different rules (dispensations) for people living in different times, and there will be different times for the judgment of various groups of people, we all need to remember this – “…it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27). We all may not die physically, but all of us will face the Lord Jesus Christ some day. He will judge all our works and unveil our motives (John 5:22; 1 Corinthians 4:5; Hebrews 4:12).

Have you placed your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ alone, who died for your sins…and rose again bodily on the third day? Are you certain that you will spend eternity with God in heaven? Why should God let you into His heaven? If you believe that you are saved, is there anything you could do or fail to do that would cause you to lose your salvation? If so, what would it be?

Sadly, in spite of all this information that God has given to us in His Word, most people won’t put their faith and trust in Christ alone and be saved (John 3:16-20). As it is true with the believers in other dispensations, most believers will NOT receive all that God would like to give to them because they will not claim God’s promises to them and walk by faith (Romans 1:17; Hebrews 4:1-12). Don’t try to claim promises that weren’t given to you. Not all the promises in the Bible are there for Christians to claim. Some are only for the Jews.

Each of the seven dispensations will end in failure. This demonstrates to us that without God’s help, no one can do anything to please God (John 15:5; Jeremiah 17:9; Hebrews 11:6).

This article is designed primarily for those Christians who have placed their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, who died for our sins…and rose again bodily on the third day, and who want to grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18), and share what they learn with other faithful believers (2 Timothy 2:2, 15; 3:16, 17). Knowing what God has revealed in His Word and what He will do in the future can enable a believer to enjoy the “peace of God, which surpasses all understanding [and] guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” in these spiritually dark days (Philippians 4:7). Before beginning, please pause and ask God to illuminate you mind to the truth that is found in His Word (Ephesians 1:18; John 17:17; Titus 1:2). Be like the “Berean Christians” who searched the Scriptures to find out whether these things are what God’s Word teaches (Acts 17:11). Much of this information will seem foolish to unsaved people and/or carnal Christians (1 Corinthians 2:14; 3:1-4; Hebrews 5:11-14).

A True Story

At the village church in Kalonovka, Russia, attendance at Sunday school picked up after the priest started handing out candy to the peasant children. One of the most faithful was a pug-nosed, pugnacious lad who recited his Scriptures with proper piety, pocketed his reward, then fled into the fields to munch on it.

The priest took a liking to the boy, persuaded him to attend church school. This was preferable to doing household chores from which his devout parents excused him. By offering other inducements, the priest managed to teach the boy the four Gospels. In fact, he won a special prize for learning all four by heart and reciting them nonstop in church.

Sixty years later he was still reciting the Scriptures, but in a context that probably would have horrified the old priest, but perhaps not the current Pope of the Roman Catholic Church. For the prize pupil, who memorized so much of the Bible, was Nikita Khrushchev, the former Communist czar. [1]

Enticed By Socialism/Communism & Other People’s Money”

He either twisted, misapplied, or totally rejected the Sermon on the Mount” (Matthew 5-7) and the “Olivet Discourse” (Matthew 24, 25) that were addressed to Jews (not to the Church), who were anticipating the setting up of the kingdom of the heavens (Daniel 2:44, 45; Matthew 4:17). Khrushchev later embraced atheistic communism” that has been responsible for over 100 million deaths in the last 150 years. [2] The communist’s, the Romanist’s, and many other religious philosophies teach, The end justifies the means.” In other words, do whatever is necessary (lie, steal, cheat, murder, etc) to accomplish your objective. But God’s Word contradicts this heresy (Romans 3:8; 6:1; 2 Timothy 2:5). Consider also the deaths due to religious wars. [3]

Atheist. Khrushchev later went on to claim that there was no God (See Psalm 14:1) because the Russian astronauts who went into space in the Sputnik didn’t see God up there. It has been reported that this same man, years later, when he spoke at a party at the Polish Embassy in Moscow, took off his shoe and pounded it on the podium and said, We will bury you [capitalists].” [4] Were he alive today, he might be saying, I told you we would and we’re doing it.” Consider the democratic socialists/communists” in our society who want to change our constitutional republic into a socialist/communist country.

Our Sin Nature. Jealousy and envy (two works of the flesh/sin nature – Galatians 5:19-21) cause people to vote into office politicians who will steal from the richer people and give to those who won’t work for it. (See Exodus 20:15; 2 Thessalonians 3:10; Ephesians 4:28). They want to take other people’s money (O.P.M.) by force and redistribute it. These folks should take a good look at the once prosperous country of Venezuela and other communist countries first. Is this really what they want?

Philosophy. The communist philosophy From each according to his ability, to each according to his need” can’t/won’t work because the sinful nature of man is basically selfish (Genesis 6:5; Romans 3:10-23; Galatians 5:19-21; Jeremiah 17:9; 2 Timothy 3:1-5). It can’t be changed. This is why God gives a new nature” to those who put their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, who died for our sins…and rose again bodily on the third day (2 Peter 1:4; 1 John 3:8-10; 1 Corinthians 15:3, 4; Acts 16:31). It enables us to please God (2 Corinthians 5:9; See Romans 8:8). Do you have a new nature” from above (John 3:3-8)? If so, are you displaying “the Fruit of the Spirit” (Galatians 5:22, 23) at the right time, towards the right people, for the right reasons?

Retained. Contrary to what some people are being taught, a Christian doesn’t lose his/her sin nature when he/she gets saved (Romans 7:15-25; 1 John 1:8). We still have the potential to engage in the works of the flesh” that are perversions of good things (Galatians 5:19-21). But as long as a believer walks by means of the Holy Spirit” he/she can’t fulfill the lusts (strong desires) that come from the flesh/sin nature (Galatians 5:16, 25). But he/she must beware of the temptations that come from the devil and the present world system.

Professing Christians.” There are many of them in churches today who twist and allegorize the Sermon on the Mount” and the “Olivet Discourse” (2 Peter 3:16). They think that the words Christ spoke to the Jews are more inspired” than the rest of the Scriptures (See 2 Timothy 3:16, 17; Titus 1:9). They don’t make a distinction between the Jews, the non-Jews, and the true Church (See 1 Corinthians 10:32; Galatians 3:28). And they fail to acknowledge that Christ postponed the setting up of His literal kingdom on/over the earth because of the unbelief of most of the Jews (Matthew 16:20; 23:37-39; John 1:11; 16:8-11; 19:15).

Kingdom. Jesus said, My kingdom is not [out of] this [diabolical] world…” (John 18:36). In other words, He was saying that after totally demolishing all the kingdoms of men, in a righteous war (Revelation 19:11; See Psalm 2:9), He will set up His literal Kingdom on/over the whole earth. Christ, along with His Bride (the true Church), will rule as the King of kings, and Lord of lords (Revelation 19:16), from the heavenly New Jerusalem that (we believe) will hover over and circle the earth daily (Revelation 21:9 – Notice the “present active participle”).

LightDuring the 1,000 year reign of Christ, the source of light for the earth will come primarily from the Lord Himself (Revelation 21:23, 24), with His garment of light (Psalm 104:2; Acts 9:3; 1 Timothy 6:16).  He will be seated at the apex of the heavenly New Jerusalem during the millennium. (Of the two possible designs, we believe that a pyramidal structure is more likely than a cube.) Keep in mind that the sun will have gone out when Christ returns at His second coming (Matthew 24:29; See Revelation 8:12; Isaiah 30:26).

Resurrection. King David will be raised from the dead and rule on earth under Christ and the Church (Jeremiah 30:9). He and the other Old Testament believers will be raised physically 75 days after the Tribulation is over (Daniel 12:12; See 1 Corinthians 15:20-24, 51, 52). Some of them will rule over the residents on earth during the millennium (Luke 19:17; Isaiah 1:26). The initial phase of Christ’s reign will last for 1,000 years (Revelation 20:1-10) and then extend out into eternity future after He creates a new heavens and earth in which righteousness will finally settle down and feel at home (Revelation 21:1 ff; 2 Peter 3:10-13; Isaiah 9:6, 7).

Red Letter Christians” [5] They try to justify Christian socialism/communism” [6] by using an incident that took place in the early days of the church. The dispersed Jews who had come long distances from other countries (Acts 2:8-11), and who had become Christians on the Day of Pentecost, realized that they probably would be ostracized by their unbelieving Jewish relatives, and would be put out of the synagogues (John 12:42; 16:1, 2). Many of them would lose their jobs. So they banded together and helped each other until the crisis was over. Notice also what the poorer Gentile Christians” from Macedonia did voluntarily to help out the Jewish Christians” in Jerusalem during this time (2 Corinthians 8:1-6). This incident was used by God to bond these two groups into one Church (See Ephesians 2:14-18; 4:3-6). They were never instructed by the Lord to pool their resources.” They were putting Christ’s new commandment” to the Church into practice (John 13:34, 35; 1 John 3:16, 17). This higher standard is contrasted to the Old Testament requirement (Leviticus 19:18). How are they different? By which standard are you living?

Capitalism. God is not opposed to it (See Ephesians 4:28). Yes, it can be abused and is being abused by some people today. The constitutional republic that we’ve had in this country has been a great form of government. It is still the envy of the world. That’s why so many people try to get here. But do you know what the best form of government is and why? See Psalm 2:1-12; Isaiah 9:6, 7; Jude 1:4; Revelation 19:16. How soon could it be here? What has to transpire first (See Daniel 9:27; Romans 11:25; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)? How will the Man of Sin” (anti-Christ) seek to counterfeit it and deceive the people of this world (2 Thessalonians 2:1-12)? Why is there silence in heaven for about half an hour” during the 7th trumpet judgment (Revelation 8:1)?

Olivet Discourse. Many false teachers twist Christ’s words in what is referred to as the Olivet Discourse” which is found in Matthew 24, 25. They try to justify Christian socialism/communism [6] (Matthew 25:32-46) and/or preach the Social Justice Gospel” [7] that includes good works.  This a perversion of the True Gospel” [8] for salvation today (1 Corinthians 15:3, 4; Romans 1:16; Ephesians 2:8, 9).

Rome’s Pope. The radical leftist Pope Francis, who has been promoting the One World Government and religion, said that the United States of America would be better off if it were brought under the control of such a government. He also is reported to have said that Europe should become one country under one government. It must take on a federal structure, resembling feudal times when the peasants were ruled by unimpeachable monarchs. [9] And, of course, it sure seems like he would like to head up the one world religion (See Revelation 17, 18).

David Rockefeller. “Whatever the price of the Chinese Revolution, it has obviously succeeded not only in producing more efficient and dedicated administration, but also in fostering high morale and community of purpose. The social experiment in China under Chairman Mao’s leadership is one of the most important and successful in human history.” (Wait! It has been reported that Mao murdered over 60 million of his own people.[2]) Rockefeller is also quoted as having said, “Some even believe we (the Rockefeller family) are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as ‘internationalists’ and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure – one world, if you will. If that’s the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.” [10] He’s dead now. Do you believe he still thinks this way (See Luke 16:19-31)?

Enticed By Miracles”

Revived Roman Empire. The Scriptures tell us that God will allow rebellious men to set up the “New World Order / The Revived Roman Empire” (Daniel 2:41-43; See Psalm 2). It will have several different forms (Revelation 13:1-10; 17:12, 13; Daniel 7:8, 20-22). The “man of lawlessness” (anti-Christ) will be enabled to perform the same kind of miracles that Jesus and the Apostles did to entice the world to follow him (2 Thessalonians 2:8-10; Acts 2:22; Matthew 24:24). He will come with a false peace (between the Arabs and Jews – both descendants of Abraham) that will lead to wars, famine, and death (“The four horsemen” of Revelation 6:1-8). But thankfully his reign will only last for 7 years (Daniel 9:27; Matthew 24:22; Revelation 8:12). This will be the most horrible time in human history (Jeremiah 30:7; Matthew 24:21; Revelation 6-19) when over ½ of the world’s population will die (Revelation 6:8; 9:15). Will you, would you want to be alive on earth during this time?

Beware. My friend, don’t listen to or follow the “false teachers” who allegorize (i.e. change/twist) the author’s intended meaning of the Scriptures to fit their own ideas. Many of them ignore and/or neglect Bible prophecy and deny many of the fundamental teachings of the Bible. See the link below to find out who some of these men are. [11]

Blessing. Consider these words from the resurrected and exalted Christ – Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy (i. e. the Book of Revelation), and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near” (Revelation 1:3). Note the curse that will be imposed on those who add or subtract from it (Revelation 22:18, 19) like the cults do. Remember, at the time of its writing, over ¼ of the Scriptures were prophetic in nature. Since the prophecies concerning Christ’s first coming were fulfilled literally, there is every reason to believe that the prophecies concerning His second coming will be fulfilled literally too.

Scripture Memory. [12] Memorizing Scripture is important (Psalm 119:11) but it doesn’t guarantee that one understands or believes what he can quote. But every Christian should read, meditate, and memorize Scripture so he/she can give a Biblical answer to those who might ask him/her concerning his/her hope (1 Peter 3:15).

All too often we act like fools and rush in where angels fear to tread as one song says. We think that we are invincible and that we’re the “Master of our our own fate, and the captain of our own ship.” But eventually we find out that we really aren’t. Many people end up enslaved to drugs, alcohol, illicit sex, or many other harmful things (Romans 6:16). Believe it or not, there is pleasure in sin (lawlessness) but it is often short lived (Hebrews 11:25). In the lake of fire, where all unbelievers go, there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth forever (Matthew 25:30, 41, 46). We don’t want you or anyone else to go there. Do you know how to be delivered from that awful place?

Counsellor. King Solomon, who gave wise counsel to his son, didn’t follow it himself. He had 700 wives and 300 concubines who turned his heart away from God (1 Kings 11:3). After trying almost every vice available at that time, he wrote, “Vanity of vanity, all is vanity” when you live a life of carnality or independently of God (Ecclesiastes 1:2). He concluded, “Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, Before the difficult days come, And the years draw near when you say, ‘I have no pleasure in them’” (Ecclesiastes 12:1).

S.T.D. He also spoke of a young man who was enticed by an immoral woman and ended up with his flesh consumed, perhaps by a sexually transmitted disease which led to his untimely death (Proverbs 5:11). Such a thing could happen to anyone, Christians included, whether young or older, who yields to the temptations that come from our sin nature (Galatians 5:19-21; See 1 John 1:8). To overcome the temptations that come from our sin nature, we must learn how to walk by means of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:16, 25; See Ephesians 5:18).

King David. Solomon’s father yielded to temptation and sinned by taking another man’s wife, Bathsheba, and committed adultery with her. He even had her husband murdered to try to cover up his sin (2 Samuel chapters 11, 12). When he was confronted by the prophet Nathan he confessed his sins and was forgiven by God, but the natural consequences of his sins followed him for the rest of his earthly life. Those who deny God’s existence (atheists) and who fail to give thanks to Him, are often given up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves (Romans 1:24).

Ignorant. We often do things without our fully knowing why we did them (See 1 Corinthians 4:4, 5). Had the devil and the wicked men of the world really known what they were doing when they crucified Christ, they wouldn’t have done it (1 Corinthians 2:8). But in crucifying Him, they provided for mankind a Savior (Acts 4:24-28; 5:29-32; John 1:29).

Solution? Today, there are many people who have been led to believe that the solution to the problems of the world is to have a one world government, and a one world religion. In a recent survey 76% of those polled thought this was the solution. [1] The hippies of the 1960’s sang, “What the world needs now is love sweet love….” But the type of love they wanted was erotic or perhaps brotherly love, but not God’s quality of “agape” love. This was demonstrated to us when God the Father loved the people of this world, who were enslaved by the devil and their own sin nature. While we were still His enemies (Romans 5:8-10) God the Father sent His only begotten Son to die in our place for our sins, once and for all (John 3:16; Hebrews 10:10). This “agape” love seeks the highest well being of its objects. It is explained for us in the “love chapter” of 1 Corinthians 13 and it is the “New Commandment” that Jesus gave to His disciples (John 13:34, 35). Only God the Holy Spirit can produce this kind of love in a “Spirit filled” believer (Ephesians 5:18; Galatians 5:22, 23). The Christian becomes responsible to direct it toward the right object, at the right time, for the right reasons (See 1 John 2:15-17; 3:16, 17; 1 Corinthians 10:31; Galatians 6:10).

N.W.O. Those who are pushing so hard for a one world government don’t realize what they are asking for or how soon it could be here, and how long it will last – a measly seven years before the Lord Jesus Christ completely destroys it and then set up His kingdom on/over the earth (Daniel 2:44, 45). Hitler’s “1,000 Year Reich” in Nazi Germany went on from 1933-1945. From a careful study of God’s Word, it seems like the New World Order is just around the corner. Many world leaders want globalism, and even the Pope of Rome is pushing it. He is reported to have said the the United States has a distorted vision of the worldand Americans must be ruled by a world government, as soon as possible, “for their own good.” [2] Tell us what you think of this statement. The stage is being set for the action that will take place here on earth once the true Church has been removed from earth to heaven in the event known as the “rapture” (John 14:1-3; 1 Corinthians 15:51, 52; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). This event is “sure, sudden, silent, selective, and satisfying.” [3]

Clarifications. Contrary to what some folks believe, the “rapture” doesn’t begin the “Seven Years of Tribulation” spoken of by the prophets (Daniel 9:27; Jeremiah 30:7). It ends the “Dispensation of Grace” in which Christians now live (Ephesians 3:1-12). [4] Once the true Church, which is made up of all genuine believers from different denominations, is taken by force from earth to heaven, and God the Holy Spirit and His restraining power have been withdrawn from this earth (2 Thessalonians 2:7), it will be necessary for the 10 kings from the “Revived Roman Empire” and the “Harlot Ecumenical Church” to gain sufficient power to promote the “The Man of Lawlessness – The Beast” into power (Revelation 13:1-10; 17:13). Most of the Jews will also need to be back in the land of Israel for Him to sign a 7 year peace agreement with them (Daniel 9:27). Apparently something dramatic will happen after the rapture that will cause the Jews to leave New York, Miami, Los Angeles, and other places and go to Israel, the land that God promised to give to them as an everlasting possession (Genesis 15:18-21). Their land will extend from the Mediterranean Sea and from the River in Egypt to the River Euphrates during Christ’s 1,000 reign over the earth (See Revelation 20:1-7).

God’s Clock. Once the 7 year peace agreement with the Jews has been signed, God’s time clock with Israel will start up again (See Romans 9-11). Don’t believe or follow those who say that the Church has replaced Israel. [5] At the present time, the Jewish nation has been set aside, but not forsaken forever, while God graciously deals mostly with non-Jews and saves some of them. Once “the fullness of the Gentiles [non-Jews] has come in” (Romans 11:25), when all those whom God the Father has given to the Son have heard the clear Gospel, not the G.M.O. Gospel (1 Corinthians 15:3, 4; John 6:37; See 2 Corinthians 11:4, 13-15), and have believed in/on the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, and been saved, the “rapture” will take place and the true Church will become “Christ’s Bride” (Ephesians 5:32). They will go with Christ to the place in heaven that Jesus said He would prepare for all believers (John 14:1-3; Revelation 21:9 ff).

Peace and Safety? During the first half of the Tribulation (3 ½) years, the Jews will be protected by “The Beast” (whom some refer to as the “anti-Christ”) and will enjoy great peace, prosperity, and safety while the rest of the world is suffering from wars, famines, and the death of ¼ of the world’s population (Revelation 6:1-8; See Matthew 24:6). This will cause Russia and her allies to come down on Israel during the middle of the Tribulation (Ezekiel 38, 39) to take a prey, mostly of food goods because they are hungry.

Russia’s Demise. But at that time “The Beast” will come to protect Israel and to fight against Russia and her allies. This is when Russia will be destroyed. During this battle, “The Beast” will be killed but then come back to life (Revelation 13:3). Then the “false prophet” will have an image of “The Beast” set up in the Jew’s rebuilt temple, and demand that everyone worship it and take the mark of the beast if they want to be able to buy or sell things (Revelation 13:14-18). Contrary to what some “Bible teachers” are saying, those who take this mark of their own volition will be doomed forever.

666. When the Jews refuse to worship his image (See Daniel 3:18), or take his mark, “The Beast” will go after them with a vengeance and try to destroy them once and for all (Revelation 12:13-17). They will flee to Petra/Sela, [6] which is about 100 miles south east of Jerusalem, where God will protect them (Isaiah 16:1; Matthew 24:15-20). The Jews will be affected primarily by the Trumpet Judgments and 2/3 of the rebel Jews will die during the last 3 ½ years of the Tribulation (Zechariah 13:8, 9; See Numbers 14:35). The Jewish remnant that physically survives “the time of Jacob’s trouble” (Jeremiah 30:7), will welcome their Messiah, Jesus when He comes back to the Mount of Olives (Acts 1:9-12; See Matthew 24:1 ff) to deliver them from the final attempt to annihilate the Jews in a place called “Armageddon” (Revelation 19:16; See Matthew 23:39; Zechariah 12:10; 14:12-15).

Ready or Not. God will fulfill all His unconditional promises to the Jews and separate ones that he made to the true Church (Romans 15:4; Titus 1:2). There are no sign miracles or anything that needs to take place before Christ returns. Will you be “caught up” to be with Him in the rapture (1 Thessalonians 4:17), or will you be left behind to enter the Tribulation in which over half of the population will die (Revelation 6:8; 9:15)?

Believe. The Good News you need to believe to be saved from having to spend eternity in the lake of fire with the devil and his angels (Matthew 24:30, 41, 46) is that Christ died for your sins…and rose again bodily on the third day (1Corinthians 15:3, 4). You must place your faith in Him alone to save you. We are not saved by our good works or by our faith plus our good works (Ephesians 2:8, 9; Titus 3:5). Have you placed your faith in Christ alone to save you? If not, why not now? Try to imagine how you might feel if, after working hard your whole life to do what was right in your own eyes, you discovered that all of it was in vain and you lost everything you were hoping to gain. (See Judges 21:25; Proverbs 14:12). What does it mean to “believe in vain” (1 Corinthians 15:2)?

Consider what is going to happen to a group of people who prophesied in Jesus’ name, who cast out demons, and who did many wonders in His name. Jesus will say to them on judgment day, “I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness” (Matthew 7:21-23; 10:1; 2 Thessalonians 2:9). Where will false prophets and teachers spend eternity (Jude 1:13)?

Olivet Discourse (Matthew 24, 25). In this speech, just before He went to the cross, Jesus talked about the Tribulation (7 years), His second coming (not the Rapture), and the Judgment of the sheep (believers) and goats (unbelievers) that will follow His return. He told them what He is going to say to those on his left hand (goats – unbelievers), “Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels.” Why? “Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it [i. e. good works] not to one of these [My brethren – the 144,000 Jewish evangelists], you did not do it to Me” (Matthew 25:41-46; See Revelation 7:4-8).

Good Works. The good works that these people did (feeding the hungry, giving drink to the thirsty, taking in the stranger, and clothing the naked among the 144,000 witnesses) during the Tribulation were the outward evidences (See James 2:18-20; Ephesians 2:10) that they had believed in Christ and the Gospel message concerning His coming kingdom that had been postponed because of the unbelief of most of the Jewish people in Christ’s days on earth (See Matthew 16:20 ff; 23:37-39; 24:14; John 1:11, 12). No one is ever saved by his/her good works (Ephesians 2:8, 9; Titus 3:5).

Welfare King. The Jews wanted someone who would heal the sick, feed the hungry, and raise the dead (John 5:1-18; 6:1-15; 11:43, 44). They wanted a political Messiah who would deliver them out from under Rome’s heel. But they weren’t interested in a Savior from sin (See John 1:29; 6:66). This is the basic problem that most of the Jews (and non-Jews) have today too. Today the Jews have a judicial blindness that God alone can remove when the Gospel has been presented to them (Romans 11:25; See 1 Corinthians 2:14; 2 Corinthians 4:4). Don’t let their spiritual blindness keep you from sharing the same Gospel with them as you would to non-Jewish unbelievers (Romans 1:16, 17). Some Jews believe that Jesus was a good Rabbi, but not God manifested in human flesh (John 1:1-18; 5:18; 10:30, 31). In order for a Jew to be saved today, he/she must believe in the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ who died for his/her sins…and who rose again bodily from the dead on the third day (Romans 1:16, 17; 10:9; John 5:18; 10:30; 1 Corinthians 15:3, 4). They aren’t saved by their good works or by keeping the Mosaic Law with its 600 plus commandments found in Exodus through Deuteronomy (See Romans 4:1-16; Ephesians 2:8, 9; Titus 3:5).

Social Gospel. The “Red Letter Christians” and other false teachers twist the Great Commission and the Gospel (Matthew 28:19, 20; 1 Corinthians 15:3 4) and add good works to God’s simple plan of salvation. Their message goes something like this: “Go ye into all the world and feed the hungry, clothe the naked, build homes for the poor and care for the sick, become politically and socially active in order to eliminate the great social problems of our day and to impose Biblical standards upon society. Change the world for Christ by bringing lost people to church.” [1] These misguided people have the mistaken idea that they can/must convert the people of the world to Christ first so they can usher in His kingdom on earth. They tend to believe that the world is somehow going to get better and better through their efforts. This “Post-millennial” view of Christ’s return is not taught in the Scriptures. The conditions and the people on the earth are going from bad to worse (1 Timothy 4:1 ff; 2 Timothy 3:1 ff). The darkness will turn to light after Christ subdues His enemies (Psalm 2:9) and sets up His literal, millennial kingdom on/over this earth (Isaiah 2:4; 9:6, 7; 11:1 ff; 35:1 ff; 42:16; Daniel 2:44, 45; Revelation 20:1-7).

Gospel. Do you really know the unadulterated Gospel that leads to salvation? Could you share it with others in 25 words [2]? Are you confusing the conditions for spiritual growth with the conditions for salvation [3]? Are you “believing in vain” (1 Corinthians 15:2)? You are if you are adding or subtracting from the Gospel or changing it (See 2 Corinthians 11:3, 4, 13-15). Did you know that it is possible for a person to know and believe the facts of the Gospel and still not be saved (James 2:19)? Not until someone transfers his/her faith and trust over the the Lord Jesus Christ alone through the message of the Gospel is he/she truly saved. Our faith must rest in the Christ of the Scriptures, not in the Christ of the cults.

Assurance. Are you 100% sure you’re saved and that you will go to heaven the moment you die or do you believe that you have to go through Purgatory first? Is there anything you could do or fail to do that would cause you to lose your salvation? If so, what would it be? Do you know that it is possible for you to know for sure that you’re headed for heaven? (See 1 John 5:13; Romans 8:16)

Uncertain? If you have doubts about your salvation they could be coming from the devil, or because you’re a carnal Christian, or maybe because you’re not really saved. Please make sure (2 Peter 1:10). “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul” (Mark 8:36)?
