We live in the instant gratification generation.” Many people say, “We want what we want, when we want it, no matter what the cost, and we’ll get it by any means.” This crowd usually believes that“The end justifies the means.” They say “Let us do evil that good may come” (Romans 3:8; 6:1). They call evil good, and good evil (Isaiah 5:20).

Reward. In contrast to the devil’s children (John 8:44; 1 John 3:9, 10), God will not reward His children on Judgment Day (1 Corinthians 3:11-15; 2 Corinthians 5:10) for the work they did in this life unless it was what He planned for them to do (Ephesians 2:10; 1 Peter 4:10; Romans 8:14) and if they kept the rules that He has set forth in His Word (2 Timothy 2:5). If you’re a Christian, are you doing what God wants you to do, or are you doing the things you want to do independently of Him (John 15:5; See Isaiah 14:13, 14)? Who is the “Captain of your ship and the Master of your fate”? What will happen to your works? Will they be rewarded or burned up (1 Corinthians 3:11-15)?

Perilous Times. From the Scriptures we learn that the last days are characterized as perilous times in which people will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power.” (2 Timothy 3:2-5). Do you think this describes our day and do you know anyone who fits this description? Do you “hang around” with them (See Psalm 1:1)? “Don’t be deceived: ‘Evil company corrupts good habits’” (1 Corinthians 15:33).

Socialism/Communism. It saddens me to think that so many young college students today have the strange idea that simply having a degree after their name will guarantee for them a six figure income when they graduate, even though it’s only a degree in something like“basket weaving.” While spending four years in college, many of their professors have convinced them that socialism/communism is better than capitalism even though many of these same professors write books that the students must buy at exorbitant prices. [1] When the graduates discover that they can’t earn enough money to pay back their student loans, suddenly socialism/communism seems very attractive to them because they think that it is alright for the government to take (steal) from the “rich” and give it to them. They forget that a government that is big enough to give you what you want is also big enough to take everything you have. Many people fail to realize that in the last 150 years socialism/communism has been responsible for the deaths of over 100 million people.

Capitalism. Some forms of government are better than others even though most of them are abused by wicked rulers. Usually the basest of men rise to leadership positions (Daniel 4:17, 25). Do you know what the best form of government is and why it is? (Let me know what you think.) God is not opposed to capitalism but He warns us against those who are covetous, greedy, and who are characterized by the love of money (1 Timothy 6:10; Colossians 3:5). “Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have (capitalism) something [that he’s earned and owns] to give [voluntarily] to him who has need” (Ephesians 4:28). By the way, any form of government is better than anarchy – lawlessness.

New World Order. Most normal people want “peace on earth.” But the unbelievers of this world don’t want the “Prince of Peace, the Lord Jesus Christ” to rule over them (Isaiah 9:6, 7; John 19:15; Matthew 27:31). The quote attributed to Paul Henri-Spaak, former Prime minister of Belgium, is becoming more timely by the hour. “We do not want another committee, we have too many already. What we want is a man of sufficient stature to hold the alliances of all people and to lift us out of the economic morass into which we are sinking. Send us such a man, and be he god or devil, we will receive him.” Rahm Emanuel is reported to have said, You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it’s an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.” And David Rockefeller said, “We are on the verge of a global transformation. All we need is the right major crisis and the nations will accept the New World Order.” [2] What might trigger such a crisis?

Rapture. When this monumental crisis takes place, God the Holy Spirit and the “True Church” (not the “Apostate Church”) will be withdrawn from earth to heaven (John 14:1-3; 1 Corinthians 15:51, 52; 1 Thessalonians 3:13-18). A vacuum will be created and lawlessness will abound. It’s very likely that “Martial Law” [3] will need to be declared all around the world to control lawless people. The Anti-Christ, who also is known as the “lawless one” will use lawless people to bring in his “New World Order.” It will consist of a “one world government,” a “one world economic system,” and a “one world religion” (Revelation 13; 17; 18). He will deceive the people by performing the same kind of miracles that Jesus and His disciples did while they were here on earth (2 Thessalonians 2:1-12; 2 Corinthians 12:12; Acts 2:22).

Peace. He will sign a seven year agreement with the Jews to protect them from their mortal enemies (Daniel 9:27). A brief time of peace on earth will be followed by wars, famine, and death, (which are represented by the four horsemen). Over ½ of the world’s population will die during this seven year period known as the “Tribulation” (Revelation 6:1-8; 9:15). According to today’s world population, that’s about 3 ½ billion people who will die. Will you enter this awful time of human history? You don’t have to if your will place your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ alone, who died for your sins…and rose again bodily on the third day (Acts 16:31; 1 Corinthians 15:3, 4; 1 Thessalonians 1:10; 5:9; Revelation 3:10). We’re not saved by our good works, or by our faith plus our good works (Ephesians 2:8, 9; Titus 3:5). My friend, why should God let you into heaven? Don’t answer incorrectly or you will suffer eternally. If you have any doubts in your mind, we’re here to assist you.

[3] Martial LawWhat would happen if martial law were declared in our country because of a national emergency or if people were acting lawlessly? The U.S. Constitution would be suspended. So would habeas corpus, civil rights, and civil laws. There would be no freedom of the press and assembly. No freedom of speech and curfews would be enforced. There would be troops in the streets for enforcement and checkpoints would be set up for control. A person could be held without charge and any suspect could be arrested and imprisoned without representation or due process. There could be a house confiscation of firearms, ammunition, and food supplies. In the United States, there is precedent for martial law. The most obvious and often-cited example was when President Lincoln declared martial law during the Civil War. He suspended habeas corpus throughout the entire United States.

In the production of a major motion picture there are many people involved behind the scenes.  Have you ever paid much attention to the list of their names?  Probably not unless you, or someone you know, worked on it.  But without these people doing their jobs, the motion picture would probably be a flop.

Man’s Last Effort.  Ever since the dawn of human history man has been trying to elevate himself to be like God (Humanism).  Satan deceived Eve into believing that she could become like God, knowing the difference between good and evil and then making the decisions to live a happy and productive life (Genesis 3:5). Upon her and her husband’s eating the forbidden fruit, the two had their nature’s turned into sinful natures (dispositions) that, from then on, rebelled against the directives of God.  This sin nature has been passed down from generation to generation (Romans 5:1; Psalm 51:5).  We all possess one (1 John 1:8).  Contrary to what some “preachers” are telling people, all true Christians still have their sin nature, even though, at the time of their new birth (John 3:3-5), they also have participated in the divine nature (2 Peter 1:4; See Romans 7:14-25). We all have the potential to engage in all the “works of the flesh” if we yield to the temptations from our sin nature (Galatians 5:16-25). But true Christians cannot live habitually according to the flesh (sin nature) or they will die prematurely (1 John 3:4-10; 5:16; James 5:19, 20; 1 Corinthians 11:30).

Events.  Prior to the coming of the “Seven Years of Tribulation,” as predicted by the Prophet Daniel (9:27), the True Church will be taken out of this world (John 14:1-3; 1 Corinthians 15:51, 52; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).  With their removal, and the Holy Spirit’s removal of His residence from earth (2 Thessalonians 2:7), the world will go from bad to worse in a very short time.  No doubt, martial law will have to be imposed, and people’s freedoms will disappear quickly.  Then what?  See “The Order of Things To Come” [1]

Main Characters.  Among the main characters in this high drama will be the Antichrist, the false prophet, the Puppet Master – Satan, the Apostate Church, the rulers/kings of the earth, the Jews, and non-Jews.  Think of a game of chess with all its major players and its pawns.  Many people, knowingly or unknowingly, are playing right into the hands of the devil.  They have been called “useful idiots.”  He lulls most people to sleep (1 John 5:19), but there are some who are mature sons of disobedience (Ephesians 2:2; John 8:44; 2 Corinthians 11:13-15).  But the One who will win in the end is the Lord Jesus Christ, who will become “The King of kings” and “The Lord of lords” (Revelation 19:16).  Is He your personal Savior?

Applications.  The Apostle Peter warned Christians to beware of the devil, who goes around like a roaring lion in an effort to overwhelm all those who are opposed to him (1 Peer 5:8).  We all need to “Understand The Times” in which we live and get excited as we see things falling into place rather than falling apart.  On several occasions, Jesus and the writers of Scripture warn us of “Things To Come” (Matthew 24, 25; 1 Timothy 4:1 ff; 2 Timothy 3:1 ff; et al).  Those who ignore the warnings will get hurt and suffer the consequences.  Unbelievers will be cast into the lake of fire to suffer forever with the devil and his angels (Matthew 25:41, 46).  Carnal Christians will lose rewards without losing their salvation (1 Corinthians 3:11-15; See Romans 8:1).

Help. We’re here to assist you and others if you’re not sure of your salvation. Once saved, we want to help you grow spiritually (2 Peter 3:18), and use your spiritual gift with love (Galatians 5:13; 1 Corinthians 13) for the glory of God and the good of others. “The Bad News & The Good News”

My friend, you’re a sinner like all the rest of us.

But Christ died for sinners…and rose again bodily.

Believe on Him alone and you will be saved.

Do it now! [2]

[1] “The Order Of Things To Come”

[2] The Gospel:  https://www.faith.edu/1993/02/do-we-really-know-the-gospel/

During World War II, General Douglas MacArthur had to leave the Philippines because of the Japanese threat.  But he said, “I shall return.”  Even though there was a possibility that something might go wrong, and he wouldn’t be able to return and rescue them, in God’s providence he did return and delivered them.

Promise. Before going to the cross to die for our sins…and rise again bodily from the dead on the third day, Jesus said to His disciples, “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God [the Father], believe also in Me. In my Father’s house are many mansions; it if were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a [single] place for [all of] you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also” (John 14:1-3).

Scoffers. Jesus said these words 2,000 years ago. The scoffers mock and say, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.” But with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. He’s long suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:3-9) What about you? Are you a true believer?

When Will Jesus Return?

Jesus said, “All that [God] the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out” (John 6:37). Since no one, except God, knows when this number will be complete, true Christians are supposed to keep glorifying God (i. e. making Him known to others) and sharing the Gospel with lost people until He returns (See 1 Corinthians 10:31).

Blinded. The Apostle Paul tells us that the unsaved Jewish people currently have a judicial blindness over their spiritual eyes, so that they don’t see and believe in Jesus as the Promised Messiah (Romans 11:25). They, as a nation, rejected Him since He didn’t fulfill their political expectations. In order for anyone to be saved today, whether he’s Jewish or not, he/she must believe in/on the Lord [His deity] Jesus [true humanity] Christ Who died for all our sins…and rose again bodily on the third day” (Acts 16:31; 1 Corinthians 15:3, 4). When a Jew or a non-Jew gets saved today, they both lose their unique distinctions and become one spiritual body in Christ (Galatians 3:28; Ephesians 2:15). There shouldn’t be “Jewish Christian Churches” and “Gentile Christian Churches.”

God isn’t finished with the Jewish nation (See Romans 9-11). God has not replaced the Jews with the Church (Replacement Theology) [1]. Those who believe this heresy will contribute to the worst holocaust in history. Are you and/or is your church doing this? Are you or is it involved in B.D.S. (Boycott, Divest, Sanction) Israel? If so, read Genesis 12:1-3 very carefully!

Adolph Hitler. Are you aware of the fact that Adolph Hitler was inspired by the anti-Semitic writings of Martin Luther “The Jews And Their Lies”? When Luther couldn’t convert the Jews to Christianity, he turned against them with a vengeance. [2]

Covenants. Before the Jews get all that God has promised to give to them in the “unconditional covenants,” (Example: the Promised Land – Genesis 15:18-21), they must go through “the time of Jacob’s [Israel’s] trouble” (Jeremiah 30:7). This will take place during last half of the upcoming “Seven Years Of Tribulation” that was predicted in the Old Testament (Daniel 9:27; See Matthew 24:15 ff; Revelation 12:13-17). This event seems to be right around the corner from where we are in time now (See our “Understanding The Times – Dispensation Chart” on our website).

How Will Jesus Return?

Confusion. Many people are confused today because they fail to realize that the “Rapture Of The Church” and the “Second Coming Of Christ” are two distinct events separated by seven years. One was a mystery during the Old Testament times (1 Corinthians 15:51, 5 2; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Romans 16:25, 26). The other event was well known (1 Thessalonians 5:2). [3]

Why Will Jesus Return?

Promises. God will keep all His unconditional covenants (promises) that He made with Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and their descendants (Romans 15:4). If He doesn’t, then none of us as Christians can be assured that He will keep His promises to us either. But God cannot lie (Titus 1:2; John 14:6; 17:17).

Claim. When “all whom the Father has given to the Son, have come to Him” (John 6:37), God the Father will tell the God the Son to come back to claim His Bride, the True Church, and take us to the place that He has been preparing for all true Christians (John 14:1-3; Revelation 21:9 ff). Are you sure that you you be included in this group? Or will you be “left behind” to enter the “Seven Years of the Tribulation”? If you do, you will have a 50/50 chance of surviving it (See Revelation 6:8; 9;15)

What Follows These Things?

To learn more about the coming events, see our “Understanding The Times – Dispensations Chart” on our website and read the corresponding article. (See Below.) [4]

Applications

Purpose. God doesn’t give us His Word just for our information, but for our transformation (2 Timothy 3:16, 17; Romans 12:1, 2). He won’t leave true believers in the condition in which He found us. He takes sinners of all kinds and washes them, sanctifies them, and justifies them (See 1 Corinthians 6:9-11). On our Wedding Day (Rapture) all true Christians will be presented to Him as a chaste virgin (2 Corinthians 11:2). The blood that Jesus shed on the cross (1 Peter 1:19), once and for all (Hebrews 10:10), to pay the debt we owed to God the Father (Romans 6:23), made it all possible for us to have Christ’s righteousness put to our account. Without it, we’d be condemned forever with the devil and his angels in the lake of fire (See John 16:8-11; Matthew 25:41, 46).

Help. We’re here to help you and others who are teachable and willing to change (2 Timothy 2:2, 15; 3:16, 17). We want you to make sure that you are saved and headed for heaven (1 John 5:13). We also want to help you grow spiritually (2 Peter 3:18), learn how to serve God by using your spiritual gift with love (Galatians 5:13; 1 Corinthians 13; 1 Peter 4:10). Discover the joy of leading someone else to Christ and earning the “Crown of Rejoicing” (1 Thessalonians 2:19, 20). We can be reached through our website: www.kelseypeach.com. [4] Order of Things To Come https://kelseypeach.wordpress.com/2016/02/20/the-order-of-coming-events-2/

If you’ve ever taken a road trip with small children, you’ve probably heard them say, “Are we there yet?” Children can be impatient. But so are many adults. Most of us want peace on earth, but how will it be achieved? Many people are looking for a “New World Order” with a one world government and a one world religion. The Scriptures tell us that one is coming.

Kingdom. But before Christ sets up His millennial kingdom over the earth (Isaiah 9:6, 7; Revelation 20:1-6), God will allow men to make one last attempt to bring peace to earth without Him. But if God were to allow their attempts to go on more than seven years, no flesh would survive (Matthew 24:22). Don’t worry. God won’t let some mad man destroy all life from the earth.

Democracies. A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the majority discovers it can vote itself largess out of the public treasury. After that, the majority always votes for the candidate promising the most benefits with the result the democracy collapses because of the loose fiscal policy ensuing, always to be followed by a dictatorship, then a monarchy.”Alexis de Tocqueville. You might want to read that again slowly.

Demise. Some people are wondering how close we are to loosing the current freedoms we have. What form of government will come to replace our constitutional republic? Many of the younger generation have been led to believe that democratic socialism/communism is better than what we have now. It isn’t. Consider Argentina today.

Rome. The Roman Empire was the fourth world empire in King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream. He represented the head of gold – the Babylonian Empire. The chest of silver represented the Medo-Persian Empire. The thighs of bronze represented the Grecian Empire. The two legs of iron represented the Roman Empire which was made up of the western and eastern branches (Daniel 2). The western branch saw its demise before the eastern branch did.

Revival. The Scriptures tell us that the Roman Empire will be revived someday – perhaps soon. The ten toes that represent the coming Empire are made up of iron and clay, symbolizing strength and weakness. After the “Rapture” of the True Church – not the “Apostate Church” (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18), the “man of sin” (the Anti-Christ), who comes out of the Revived Roman Empire, will sign a seven year peace agreement with the nation of Israel (Daniel 9:27). He will have to share his power with the other 10 kings/rulers of the Revived Roman Empire for 3 ½ years.

Resuscitated. When the Anti-Christ goes to the defense of Israel against the Russians and her allies in the middle of the Tribulation (Ezekiel 38, 38), he will be killed in battle, but then he will be revived back to life. At that time he will gain universal power and demand that everyone take “the mark of the beast” on their forehead or right hand or they won’t be able to buy or sell anything (Revelation 13:15,16). Believe me, you won’t want to be on earth during this time.

Death. During the seven years of the Tribulation (Daniel 9:27), the Scriptures tell us that over ½ of the world’s population will die (Revelation 6:8; 9:15). We understand that the social engineers of this world want to reduce the size of the world’s population down to about 500 million people. [1] If the world’s population is currently around 7 billion people today, think about what they will have to do to reduce the population of the world as they think it should be.

Schedule. If you’d like to see a schedule of “Things To Come,” go to our website and download our “Understanding The Times – Dispensations Chart”, and then read this article: “The Order Of Things To Come” https://kelseypeach.wordpress.com/2016/02/20/the-order-of-coming-events-2/

Ready? The next major event on God’s calendar is the Rapture of the True Church. It is sure, sudden, silent, selective, and satisfying. But the question is, Will you be taken to heaven or left behind to go into the seven years of the Tribulation? If you do, there is a 50/50 chance that you will die during this time. Then where will you end up in eternity? Are you sure?

Gospel. The Bad News is that we’ve all sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). We all deserve to be eternally separated from God in hell (Romans 6:23). But the Good News is that God the Father loved the people of this world. He gave/sent His only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to save us sinners from eternal condemnation in the eternal lake of fire (Matthew 25:30, 41, 46). He volunteered to die for our sins. Then He rose again bodily from the dead on the third day. Any and all who believe on Him will be saved (1 Corinthians 15:3, 4; Acts 16:31). But please note, we aren’t saved by our good works (Ephesians 2:8, 9; Titus 3:5).

Questions. Are you absolutely sure that you will go to heaven the moment you die? Why should God let you into His heaven? If you believe you’re saved, is there anything you could do or fail to do that would cause you to lose your salvation? If so, what would it be?

Help. We’re here to help you and others who are teachable and willing to change (2 Timothy 2:2, 15; 3:16, 17). If this article has helped you, we’d like to hear from you. Ten Most Destructive Americans – by Frank Hawkins https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2018/07/the_10_most_destructive_americans_of_my_8_decades.html

Perhaps you’ve seen pictures of a guy, looking like a hippie in a robe, holding a sign that says, “Repent, the end is near!” If you’re a younger person, you may not know what a hippie is.

Hippies. They were associated with the subculture of the day and often had long hair and beards, and many of them took hallucinogenic drugs. They were called flower children, beatniks, free spirits who were nonconformists and dropouts. The sad thing is that today many of these same people are executives in companies and even in the government.

John The Baptist. Perhaps you might think of John the Baptist as a hippie. He was the one who introduced Jesus to the Jews. His clothes were made of camel’s hair and he had a leather belt around his waist. His food consisted of locusts and wild honey (Matthew 3:4). He preached a message in the wilderness saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of the heavens is at hand” (Matthew 3:2). This took place when Jesus came on the scene and offered Himself as the rightful King of the Jews (Matthew 1:1 ff; 2:2; 27:11 ). But because most of the Jews rejected Him (John 1:11, 12), He postponed the setting up of His kingdom on earth until a future date (Matthew 23:37-39; See Daniel 2:44, 45). Believe it or not, it could be here within seven years from now?

Gap. Currently we’re living in a parenthetical period of time known as the “Dispensation of Grace” (Ephesians 3:1 ff) when God is dealing mostly with those who aren’t Jews. Once all those whom God the Father has given to God the Son (the Lord Jesus Christ) have come to Him and been saved (John 6:37; See Romans 11:25), the Lord will come back for the true Church and make it His Bride (Ephesians 5:25). We will meet Him in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). Then He will take us to the place that He has been preparing for all true Christians (John 14:1-3; See Revelation 21:9 ff). This event is known as “The Rapture.” Will you be in this group?

Trouble. Shortly after this takes place, God’s time clock with the Jews will start up again (Romans 11:1 ff). It will being with seven years of tribulation during which time over ½ of the world’s population will die (Revelation 6:8; 9:18). All this was predicted by the prophet Daniel and the Apostle John (Daniel 9:27; See Revelation 6-19).

Kingdom. Then Jesus will come back to this earth, defeat all His enemies, and establish His 1,000 reign over this earth as the King of kings, and Lord of lords (Revelation 19: ; 20: ). To learn more about this read “The Order Of Things To Come.” [1]

The End. When someone talks about “the end,” we need to ask him which end is he talking about? It might refer to a person’s life, a nation’s life or many other things. We came into existence when we were conceived (Psalm 51:5; 139:13). The end of our physical existence on earth could happen at any moment. Our lives are likened to a vapor that appears for a little while and then that vanishes away (James 4:14). So, let’s not boast about tomorrow (Proverbs 27:1). Treat each day as though it might be your last day on earth, or the last day of someone you love or know. Our nation came into existence in 1776. Is it about to come to its end? Are we about to lose our “constitutional republic” and have it replaced by “democratic socialist/communist” government or some other less desirable form of government? By the way, any form of government is better than anarchy and lawlessness. How close are we to the arrival of the “New World Order” that many people are talking about? Why do they want it? Who will rule over it?

Future. Everyone has everlasting life (existence). We will either spend it in God’s presence or we will be separated forever from Him in the lake of fire (Matthew 25:30, 41, 46). The Scriptures don’t teach the annihilation of the wicked, or a person’s reincarnation. Not everyone has “eternal life” (i. e. God’s quality of life as a present possession – John 3:16, 18, 36; 1 John 5:11-13). Do you have it? If so, are you living in such a way that others see a difference in your life that enables them to learn something about the true and living God (James 2:18-20; Romans 12:1, 2; 1 Corinthians 10:31)?

If you’d like a panoramic view of time from the beginning to the end, we invite you to consider our “Dispensations Chart” on our website – “Understanding The Times.” It’s the result of a normal interpretation of the Bible. The Gospel In A Nutshell”

My friend, you and I are sinners.

But Christ died for our sins…and rose again bodily.

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ alone and you will be saved.

Have you done this? If not, do it now!

[1] https://kelseypeach.wordpress.com/2016/02/20/the-order-of-coming-events-2/

In the Scriptures we read –“Judas went out and hanged himself” (Matthew 27:5). “Go and do likewise” (Luke 10:37). “What you do, do quickly (John 13:27).” All three of these passages are taken from the Bible. If you believe the Bible is God’s Word and authoritative, why haven’t you done this yet?

In the realm of real estate, they say it’s all about location. When it comes to interpreting the Bible, it’s about context. We also believe that it should be interpreted as we do other literature: normally, literally (which includes figures of speech), historically, and grammatically. It’s not hard to come up with all kinds of heresies by taking Bible verses out of the context in which they were written. The “allegorical” method of interpretation (i.e. a deeper, spiritual and symbolic meaning) has led to all kinds of heresies and false doctrines. It began in the Garden of Eden when Satan questioned what God had said (Genesis 3:1; See 2:17). The Apostle Peter warned believers about false teachers who would mislead untaught and unstable people by twisting the Scriptures to their own destruction (2 Peter 3:16). Have you been deceived by them? Are you being“tossed to and fro and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting” (Ephesians 4:14)?

One World Government. In recent days we have all kinds of people, including “professing Christians,” who have been distorting the Scriptures to push the devil’s agenda for a one world government and a one world religion. [1] Make no mistake about it, the Bible predicts that this is going to happen sometime in the future – perhaps soon. But God will set a time limit on this futile endeavor of man to defy God (Psalm 2). He won’t let it go on for more than seven years (Daniel 9:27). Otherwise man would destroy all life from the face of the earth (Matthew 24:22). Should true Christians be aiding and abetting the devil, demons, the Antichrist, and false teachers in their attempt to bring this about? Of course not (Romans 3:8; See 2 Chronicles 19:2; Revelation 18:4)? And yet, it seems like many are doing just this.

Fatherhood / Brotherhood of Man. While it is true that all human beings are descendants of Adam and Eve and are interrelated by blood (Acts 17:26; Romans 5:12), it is not correct to say that we all have the same spiritual, heavenly Father and that we’re all children of God. Jesus made it quite clear that some of the religious Jews of His day were actually children of the devil (John 8:44; See Ephesians 2:2; 1 John 3:10). Before anyone can become a spiritual child of God, he/she must believe on the Lord Jesus Christ alone, who died for our sins…and rose again bodily on the third day (Acts 16:31; 1 Corinthians 15:3, 4). We aren’t saved by our good works lest any of us should boast (Ephesians 2:8, 9). Have you placed your faith in Christ yet? If not, why not now?

Borders / Languages / Nations. God is the one who changed the languages and scattered the rebels at the Tower of Babel to the corners of the earth (Genesis 11:8). He is the one who decides the boundaries of nations and who will live where and for how long (Acts 17:26). He often uses wicked nations to punish other wicked nations. Examples: God sent the wicked Babylonians to enslave the rebellious Jews for 70 years for worshiping idols and violating the sabbatical year (Daniel 1:1, 2; Jeremiah 36:21; See Deuteronomy 28:15 ff)). Then God used the Medo-Persians to defeat the Babylonians. They were defeated by the Greeks who were defeated by the Romans. The final kingdom will be ruled by the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ during the millennium (See Daniel 2:36-45; Revelation 20:1-6). False teachers often allegorize the Bible and especially Bible prophecy and change the intended meaning of the Scriptures.

The Least Of These. In what is referred to as “The Olivet Discourse,” Jesus told His disciples what would happen in the future on judgment day to those who did or didn’t feed the hungry, give a drink to the thirsty, take the stranger in, and clothe the naked (Matthew 25:31-46). He said, “And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did to it to one of the least of My brethren, you did it to Me’” (Matthew 25:40). “Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom of prepared for you from the foundation of the world” (Matthew 25:34). Those who didn’t do these things will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life (Matthew 25:45, 46). Both groups were displaying their faith or lack of it by their works (See Ephesians 2:8-10; James 2:18-20).

My Brethren. Since not all mankind can be referred to in the spiritual sense as “My [Christ’s] brethren,” to whom does this refer? By looking at the context, we believe that it must refer to the 144,000 Jewish evangelists who will be taking the Gospel of the Kingdom to the whole world during the last half of the seven years of the Tribulation (Revelation 7:4-8). When a person, without the “mark of the beast” on him (Revelation 13:16-18), hears the message concerning the returning, promised Messiah and believes on Him, this person will be willing to share what little he has to help these witnesses continue to spread this Gospel until Christ returns at His second coming (Matthew 24:14, 29-31; Revelation 19:11 ff).

Social Gospel. In what is called “The Great Commission” Jesus said, “Make disciples [true believers] of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you…” (Matthew 28:19, 20; See John 13:34, 35). The“Social Gospel” says, Go ye into all the world and feed the hungry, clothe the naked, build homes for the poor and care for the sick, become politically and socially active in order to eliminate the great social problems of our day and in order to impose Biblical standards upon society, or to change the world for Christ. [2]

Red Letter Christians. [3] These false teachers believe that the words of Jesus (found in the Sermon on the Mount – Matthew 5-7) are of greater value than the rest of the Scriptures (See 2 Timothy 2:15; 3:16, 17). They seek to redefine moral values according to their interpretation of Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount and other “red letter” passages. [2] They fail to realize that because of the Jews’ rejection of Him as their Messiah (John 1:11, 12; Luke 23:21; Matthew 27:21), Jesus postponed the setting up of His literal kingdom on/over earth (Isaiah 2:4; 9:6, 7; 11:1 ff; Daniel 2:44, 45; Jeremiah 30:7). He temporarily changed the focus of His direction away from His being the promised Messiah to His becoming the Savior of the whole world (Matthew 16:20; 23:37-39; 1 John 2:2; 4:10; Romans 11:25).

Doing Good Works. We are saved by God’s grace (unmerited favor) through faith in the Christ of the Scriptures who died for our sins…and rose again bodily. Our salvation is not based on our good works lest anyone should boast (Ephesians 2:8, 9; See Isaiah 64:6). But once we have been saved, there are good works that God wants us to do (Ephesians 2:10; 1 Peter 4:10). The Apostle Paul wrote, “Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith” (Galatians 6:10). We can/should demonstrate our faith before other people by our good works. “But someone will say, ‘You show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works’” (James 2:18). For other people to be convinced that our faith in Christ is real, they need to see our good works, especially as we love fellow Christians (John 13:34, 35).

The Scriptures. “All Scripture is [God breathed], and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16, 17). It tells us what is right (doctrine), what is not right (reproof), how to get right (correction), and how to stay right (instruction in righteousness). -Adapted from Dr. M. Kober. Within the pages of the Scriptures we have everything we need for life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). We don’t need the secular, humanistic philosophies of men that contradict God’s Word (Colossians 2:8; See James 3:13-18).

Questions. Have you been “born again from above” by believing on the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior (John 3:3 ff)? Do you have assurance of your salvation (Romans 8:16; 1 John 5:13)? Are you “rightly dividing the Word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15)? Are you living in the light of Christ’s any moment return (2 Timothy 4:8; John 14:1-3)? Have you been twisting the Scriptures or have you been misled by a false teacher who is doing this? If so, stop! God means what He says, and says what He means. Let’s adjust our thinking to His thinking and our ways to His ways (Isaiah 5:8, 9).

War On Our Borders with Dr. Andy Woods

https://www.facebook.com/woods.andy.9/videos/1832432826780269/

The Blame Game

In your opinion, what’s wrong with the world today? Who is to blame? Is it the Russians, the Chinese, North Korea, ISIS or is it our own country (the United States) that is responsible for the problems in the world? Maybe you’d like to blame the Democrats or the Republicans or your parents, your teachers, the police, or someone or something else? Do you ever blame God? Why not the devil?

Most of us don’t want to take responsibility for our own bad decisions and the evil things that we do. We like to think that it’s someone else who is responsible for the evil, sorrow, hatred, and death in the world. I think that you will agree with me that we live in a very troubled world today. It’s not a “wonderful world.”

The Solution

For every problem, there is a solution. Now, let’s suppose that you were placed in charge of straightening out the problems of the world. What would you do? You probably haven’t given much thought to it. Or perhaps you have.

Would this popular song express your feelings? If I ruled the world, / Every day would be the first day of spring, / Every heart would have a new song to sing, / And we’d sing of the joy every morning would bring. // If I ruled the world, / Every man would be as free as a bird, / Every voice would be a voice to be heard, / Take my word we would treasure each day that occurred…”. Writers: Cyril Ornadel, Leslie Bricusse What obvious problems do you see with such sentiments?

Population. What would you do about the burgeoning population explosion? Would you promote the abortion of babies and the euthanasia of the elderly? Do you believe that abortion is murder? When does life begin (Psalm 51:5; 139:13-18)? Do you agree with the “social engineers” who say that the world’s population needs to be reduced down to about 500 million people? If so, how would you go about doing this and maintaining this level? (Read the Georgia Guidestones link below.)

Peace. How would you bring lasting peace to the earth? What was/is the purpose of the United Nations and how and why have they failed to establish peace on earth? What would you do to control and punish criminals who refused to abide by the rules? Who should make the rules for society? What if there were no rules and everyone did what is right in his own eyes? Discover for yourself what happened in the past when people lived this way. (See Judges 21:25; Genesis 6:5; 7:1-8:22)? What if someone thinks the rules are unjust? Would you like to be the one to determine what is right and wrong, acceptable and unacceptable behavior? Would the rules apply to everyone or just to those who are in the lower classes of society? Would you exempt yourself?

Government. What sort of government would you like to see in the New Word OrderDemocracy, Constitutional Republic, Fascism, Socialism, Communism, etc? What do you believe is the best form of government? Why? How and who in the government would enforce the rules? What should be done with the criminals? Should capital punishment be abolished? If so, why? (See article below.) How would you go about to change the rebellious nature of man so he will comply with the rules of the New World Order? How would you keep people from being so self-centered and abusive of others?

Hatred. Why do many (perhaps most) of the Arabs (descendants of Ishmael), Edomites (descendants of Esau), and Muslims hate the Jews who descended from Isaac and Jacob (Genesis 16:1-12; 21:0-21; 25:31-34; 27:36, 41, 42)? How long has this hatred been going on (Genesis 16:12; 27:41)? When will it end (Isaiah 2:4; 11:16; 19:23; Revelation 20:7-10)? Who are the real “occupiers” of the land in Israel (Genesis 15:18-21)?

Expelled. Do the Jews have the rights to the land? Did they forfeit the unconditional promise that God gave to them when they rejected Christ as their Messiah (Genesis 15:18-21)? Is God done with the nation of Israel (Romans 11:1 ff)? Whom does God hold accountable for the death of Christ (Acts 2:22-24; 3:13-15; 4;24-28)? Has the Church replaced Israel? (Read article below.) Will the Jews in Jerusalem and in Israel be chased out of the land again (Matthew 24:15ff; Revelation 12:13-17)? If so, when? Will God preserve and protect the remnant during the last half of the seven years of the Tribulation (Romans 11:5; Revelation 12:14)? If so, where (Isaiah 16:1)?

144,000. What do the Scriptures tell us the 144,000 Jewish evangelists and the other two witnesses will do for 3 ½ years during the last half of the Tribulation (Matthew 24:14; Revelation 7:4-8; 11:1-12)? What will happen to those who bless the Jews and those who oppress and curse them (Genesis 12:1-3)? Why are many liberal churches in America involved in the BDS movement? Why are they are boycotting, divesting, and trying to place sanctions on Israel? Is the church you attend involved in this? How will this lead to the greatest holocaust in human history known as “the time of Jacob’s [Israel’s] trouble” (Jeremiah 30:7)?

Borders. Should we abolish the borders and boundaries between nations that God determined (Acts 17:26; Daniel 4:17, 25)? Why did God change the languages of the people working on the tower of Babel and scatter them out (Genesis 9:1; 11:1-9)? When and how does God use nations for His purposes (Daniel 1:1, 2; 5:30, 31; Ezra 1:1-8)?

Superman. Why are so many politicians and others pushing to establish a New World Order and a One World Religion and economic system? Do you believe there may be a superman somewhere in the world right now who could straighten up the mess we’re in? Why does the devil always need to have such a man waiting in the wings (2 Thessalonians 2:7)? How might he use AI (Artificial Intelligence) to control the people of the world?

Religion. Many, perhaps most people are religious by nature. They believe that there is the possibility of life after death and that there is some kind of Deity who is behind everything even though most people know very little about Him. Why do so many “intelligent people” believe the theory of evolution that has been promoted in our educational systems (John 3:19; Romans 1:18-32)? Will the New World Order include a One World Church (Religion) under which people will be forced to live or die ? What will happen if they don’t go along with it (Revelation 6:9-11; 13:15)? Why do some people believe that the Roman Catholic Church will be the head of this organization (Revelation 17, 18)?

Economics. Why is there such a push for a cashless society. Is it to control the citizens of the world? Could this be accomplished by the use of special cards, or better yet, through the implantation of a chip in the hand or on some other place of the body (example: the forehead)? The Scriptures tell us that this will happen (Revelation 13:16-18). Are those who voluntarily take this mark doomed forever (Revelation 14:9-12)?

Date. Does the Bible predict that such things will happen in the future? Indeed it does. But when will they occur? The “Date Setters” have done a lot of damage by their false predictions. (See article below.) While we don’t know exactly when the “Rapture” will take place (John 14:1-3; 1 Thessalonians 4:12-18), we are confident that it will occur once all those whom the Father has given to the Son have come to Him (John 6:37) and when “the fullness of the Gentiles has come in” and they have been saved (Romans 11:25). God cannot lie (Titus 1:2; John 14:6; 17:17). He will keep his unconditional promises to the Jews and to Christians. This is the basis of our hope – confident expectation (Romans 15:4). Do you know and claim God’s promises to you? (Ask us about them.)

Until Then. Every true Christian is instructed to “be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord” (1 Corinthians 15:58). This involves our spiritual growth (1 Peter 2:2; 2 Peter 3:18), our service to God and others (1 Peter 4:10; Galatians 5:13), and our sharing the Gospel with lost unbelievers (Acts 1:8; Matthew 28:19, 20). Our primary goal is/should be to glorify God by making Him known to others (1 Corinthians 10:31; See John 17:3). If you’re saved, are you doing this? If not, what needs to change? (See James 4:17).

Gospel. The Good News that leads to our salvation is that Christ died for our sins, was buried for three days and nights, and then raised bodily from the dead on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:3, 4). When we place our faith in the Christ of the Scriptures alone (Acts 16:31), apart from any good works (Ephesians 2:8, 9), God saves us by His grace. Have you done this yet? If not, why not now?

Is Date Setting Biblical?” by Manfred Kober http://www.middletownbiblechurch.org/proph/dateset.htm

There is a lot of confusion in the minds of many people within Christendom, especially as it pertains to how a new Christian is to grow spiritually in the Lord. We’re told to “desire the pure milk of the word, that [we] may grow thereby, if indeed [we] have tasted that the Lord is gracious” (1 Peter 2:2, 3). Later, in his second epistle, Peter tells believers to “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18).

Rightly Dividing It. The Apostle Paul wrote this to Timothy, his son in the faith: “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15). To Titus he wrote this concerning the qualifications of an elder (bishop/overseer, and Pastor-teacher). “[He needs to be able to hold] fast the faithful word as he has been taught, that he may be able, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and convict those who contradict” (Titus 1:9).

Clarification. We have two Greek words that need to be explained. The “faithful word” refers to doctrines or teachings that need to be “believed and practiced,” whereas “sound doctrine” refers to that which is to be “believed but not practiced.” “All Scripture is [God breathed], and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction for in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16, 17 NKJV).

Value. The primary value of the Old Testament to New Testament believers is one of a negative example (1 Corinthians 10:6, 11). We’re warned not to behave wickedly like the rebellious Jews did or expect similar consequences. Also, the Old Testament can give New Testament Christians hope as we contemplate how God kept His promises to the Jews, so He will keep all His promises to us (Romans 15:6). The Old Testament also provides much information concerning God Himself (His attributes). He is faithful to His Word and never changes (James 1:17). His immutability doesn’t deny His mobility. He doesn’t have to keep on doing things that He chose to do only once (examples: create the universe, open up the Red Sea, etc).

For Us – To Us. All Scripture is for us as Christians, but not all of it is addressed to us. Much of the Scriptures were written to and for Old Testament believers, who were living under the Mosaic Law, whereas much of the New Testament was written to and for Christians. Generally speaking, the doctrines/teachings addressed to Christians can be found in the writings of Paul, Peter, John, James, and Jude. One Bible teacher says we can find our instructions for Christian living between John 13 and Revelation 3. In John 13:34, 35 Jesus gave a “New Commandment” to love one another [fellow believers] as I have loved you. (See Galatians 6:10)

Contrast. This stands in contrast to the Old Testament believer’s standard of “loving your neighbor as yourself” (Leviticus 19:18). This was the best an Old Testament believer could do. He was the standard by which he loved others. Only when God the Holy Spirit produces this one aspect of “The Fruit of the Spirit” in a Spirit filled believer’s life (Ephesians 5:18) is he/she able to direct it toward the right objects at the right time and for the right reasons. Note: It’s possible for a maturing believer to misdirect God’s love toward the present world system (1 John 2:15-17). We may use the world system, but we are not to love or abuse it (1 Corinthians 7:31).

Steward. The Apostle Paul identified himself as the “steward (household manager) of the “Dispensation of Grace” (Ephesians 3:1 ff). We see Peter, John, James, and Jude as supplementing Paul’s teaching (2 Peter 3:15, 16). Even Peter acknowledged that some of Paul’s writings were difficult to understand. But, believe it or not, we can know more than the Apostle Paul did because he died before John wrote the Book of Revelation. The Apostle Paul rebuked the Christians in Galatia for trying to come to spiritual maturity by keeping the Mosaic Law (See the Book of Galatians.)  Are you trying to live by rules other than those that were designed for you as a New Testament believer?

Sermon On The Mount. This was addressed to Jews (not to Christians) who were anticipating the Kingdom of the Heavens (Matthew 5-7; Daniel 2:44, 45). It was postponed because of the Jew’s rejection of their Promised Messiah (Matthew 16:20; 23:37-39; John 1:11). God holds all men accountable for the death of Christ, not just the Jews (Acts 3:13-15; 4:27, 28). It was your sins and mine that put Him on that cross. He paid our debt by dying for our sins (Romans 6:23; 1 Peter 3:18). God the Father demonstrated His satisfaction with Christ’s death by raising Him from the dead (Romans 4:25; 1 John 2:2; 4:10). Have you placed your faith in Him alone to save you? If not, why not trust Him now?

Time. God’s time clock will start up again for the Jews after “the fullness of the Gentiles has come in” (Romans 11:25) and the Body of Christ, which is the Church is complete (John 6:37; 1 Corinthians 12:12, 13; Ephesians 1:20-22; 2:15). The Tribulation begins when the man of sin signs the 7 year covenant with the Jews (Daniel 9:27; Revelation 6:19).  This will take place after the Rapture of the Church (John 14:1-3; 1 Corinthians 15:51, 52; 1 Thessalonians 1:9; 4:13-18; 5:9).

Chart. We have a FREE “Dispensations” chart for you on our website: http://kelseypeach.com/Kelsey.8.pdf  It is not original with us, but is a compilation of material we’ve received from various Bible teachers. This information really helped me personally as I sought to understand the Bible better. It is the result of a normal, literal, grammatical interpretation of the Bible.

Help. It is our aim in life to try to glorify God (1 Corinthians 10:31) by assisting unbelievers to come to faith in Christ through the Gospel (1 Corinthians 15:3, 4) and then helping new believers grow spiritually (2 Peter 3:18) so they can serve God effectively (1 Peter 4:10), and reproduce themselves (Matthew 28:19, 20). 1 Peter 5:10, 11

“One of the most crucial lessons to learn as a Christian is how to handle suffering. In this fallen world, suffering is a certainty. And, it will make you grow bitter or better, depending on how you handle it. – Steve Cole

Jesus said, “If they have persecuted Me, they will also persecute you” (John 15:20). The Apostle Paul wrote, “…all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution” (2 Timothy 3:12). But “[our God] is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen” (Ephesians 3:20, 21). Let’s consider –

The Benefactors. “Every good and perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning” (James 1:17). He is the God of all grace (unmerited favor) who called believers to share in His glory (1 Peter 5:10; Romans 8:17, 18). He and God the Son and God the Holy Spirit share the same essence and Divine nature (John 4:24; 10:30). There is one God who exists as three Persons (Deuteronomy 6:4; Genesis 1:27; John 14:16). The subordination of the two Persons in the Godhead relates to time (the seven dispensations) and God’s decree (Ephesians 1:11; John 14:16). Once eternity future begins, there will be no more subordination of one Person to the others (1 Corinthians 15:28). There are at least 1,0007 years before God creates a new heavens and earth (Revelation 21:1). After the Rapture of the true Church, there will be 7 years of Tribulation (Daniel 9:27; Revelation 6-19), and then the 1,000 year reign of Christ on/over the earth (Revelation 20:1-6). If Christ were to return today, would you be left behind?

The Beneficiaries. God is a good God who delights in the happiness of others (Matthew 19:17). But He won’t make us happy unless we’ve believed on the Lord Jesus Christ as the One who died for your sins…and rose again bodily from the dead (Acts 16:31; 1 Corinthians 15:3, 4). If you’re a believer living a life of sin (lawlessness), He will give you an opportunity to repent (change your mind) and make honest confession of your sins (2 Corinthians 7:9; 1 John 1:9; Proverbs 28:13). If you don’t do this, He will chasten you (Hebrews 12:5-11). He could even take you life prematurely if you commit the sin unto death (1 John 5:16, 17; James 5:19, 20; 1 Corinthians 10:8-10; 11:30). Are you a “professor” who claims to be a Christian, or are you a “possessor” of eternal life (Matthew 7:21-23; 1 John 5:11-13)? Are you believing in vain (1 Corinthians 15:2)? If you’re a Christian, God wants to live out His eternal life through your life so others can learn about Him (Galatians 2:20; 4:19).

The Benediction. If you are suffering and/or being persecuted for being and acting like a Christian should (John 15:20; Timothy 3:12), keep in mind that there is coming a day when there will be no more death, sorrow, crying, or pain (Revelation 21:4). Believers who die in the Lord are resting in peace (R.I.P.). In God’s presence there is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11). But this is not so with unbelievers who die (Luke 16:19-31; See Matthew 15:30, 41, 46; Revelation 21:8). God will use the believer’s suffering to perfect us, establish us, strengthen us, and settle us (1 Peter 5:10; See Romans 8:28, 29). Nothing can separate God’s children from His love (Romans 8:35-39). Are you sure that you are one of His children rather than a child of the devil (John 8:44; 1 John 3:9, 10)? Have you been “born again from above” (John 3:3-5)?

 1 Peter 5:8, 9

When it comes to the subject of the devil, two mistakes are often made by many people, including Christians. Some folks joke about him while others ignore him. Both of these responses are dangerous positions to take.

Warning. The Apostle Paul warned Timothy that in the latter times some people would depart from the faith and give heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons. They would speak lies in hypocrisy, having their consciences seared with a hot iron. They would tell people not to marry and abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth (1 Timothy 4:1-5; See Acts 10:14, 28). He told Timothy to preach the word with authority and to be ready in season and out of season because many people would seek to follow teachers with itching ears who would tell the people what they want to hear (2 Timothy 4:1-4).

Ignorance. The Apostle Peter, having given in to a temptation from the devil to play the role of a coward (Luke 22:31, 32; Matthew 26:74), was well aware of Satan’s tactics. They seem to be intensifying in our day and we need to know the truth about him so we who are true Christians can resist and overcome him (James 4:7; 1 Peter 5:8, 9; 1 John 4:4) after we have put on the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-17). Let’s not be ignorant of his tactics (2 Corinthians 2:11).

Satan’s Activities

Independence. He seeks to provoke believers to rely on themselves rather than on God (See John 15:5; 1 Corinthians 4:7; Philippians 4:13). As a result of King David’s yielding to Satan’s solicitation to number and rely on his troops rather than on God Himself, 70,000 Israelite men died (1 Chronicles 21:1). The leaders of the world have made and will make decisions to engage in unjust wars and in the future billions of people will die. Do you know how many people will die during the seven years of the Tribulation when the devil, the anti-Christ, and the false prophet are in charge? It will be over ½ of the world’s population (Revelation 6:8; 9:15). If God allowed them to have power for more than seven years, no one would survive (Matthew 24:22). By the way, not all wars are unjust and some have been ordered by God Himself (Deuteronomy 20:17-20). God gave the wicked nations in the land of Canaan 400 years to repent but they didn’t (Genesis 15:16; Leviticus 18:24). God is long suffering and wants people to be saved (2 Peter 3:9; 1 Timothy 2:4). But there will come a day when He will judge the unrepentant and unbelievers (John 5:22; 2 Timothy 4:8). You and I can cause great harm to others too if we act like the heathen and the Israelites who sacrificed their live babies to the pagan god Molech (Leviticus 18:21; Jeremiah 32:35). Can God forgive the sin of murder and other sins (Exodus 20:13; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11)? Yes! He forgave King David, King Manasseh, and the Apostle Paul (2 Samuel 12:9; 2 Chronicles 33:1-20; Acts 8:1-3).

Victims. He roams the world to find victims to overwhelm (1 Peter 5:8). He’d like for believers to become bitter and have an unforgiving spirit (Hebrews 12:15; 2 Corinthians 2:10, 11) and get them to curse God and die for not protecting them from harm and danger (Job 2:9). The patriarch Job was an upright man and became the object of Satan’s abuse. He was allowed by God to strip Job of his children, his wealth, and his health (Job 1, 2). He became a prime example of our need to trust God even when things are going badly (Proverbs 3:5, 6; 1 Thessalonians 5:18). Do you do this?

Blindness. The Scriptures talk about three kinds of spiritual blindness: Natural blindness. This keeps all unbelievers from understanding many things in the Scriptures or think of them as simply being foolish (1 Corinthians 1:18-25; 2:14; 3:19). Satanic blindness. He spiritually blinds the minds of unbelievers to prevent them from understanding the power of the Gospel to save Jews and non-Jews (2 Corinthians 4:4; Romans 1:16, 17). Judicial blindness. This was imposed on the Jewish people because of their rejection of their promised Messiah (Romans 11:25; Matthew 27:25). Only God Himself can remove these three blinds from people’s spiritual eyes after the Gospel has been presented to them by a human agent (1 John 4:4; Romans 1:16).

Darts. Satan has in his arsenal 14 fiery, mental darts that he directs at a believer’s mind but only if God allows it (Ephesians 6:10-17). Disappointment, discouragement, doubt are very effective tools he uses to bring Christians down and cause them to lose their power from God (Philippians 3:10; 4:13). Do you know what the other 11 temptations are and how to overcome them? They are not to be confused with the temptations that come from our old sin nature (Galatians 5:19-21; See 1 john 1:8) or from the present world system (1 John 2:15-17; 1 Corinthians 7:31; Genesis 4:17-24).

Hinder. Whenever he can, he tries to hinder those who are engaged in the work of evangelizing the lost with the Gospel of Christ (1 Corinthians 15:3, 4) and the edification of believers (1 Thessalonians 5:11) for their work of service (1 Thessalonians 2:18; 1 Peter 4:10). He encourages and promotes greedy, false teachers who do his bidding (Ephesians 2:2; 2 Timothy 3:1-9). Beware of the “health, wealth, and happiness preachers” (2 Peter 2:15; Jude 1:11; Revelation 2:14).

Doubt. He undermines the Word of God by casting doubt on it (Genesis 3:1). He often uses false teachers to twist the Scriptures (2 Peter 3:16). Many of them use the allegorical rather than the normal, historical, grammatical method of interpreting the Scriptures (Matthew 13:19; Genesis 3:1).

Angel. Believe it or not, he can transform himself into an angel of light so as to try to deceive other good angels (2 Corinthians 11:14). He drew 1/3 of the angels with him in his rebellion against God (Revelation 12:4). They became demons and are destined for the eternal lake of fire (Matthew 25:41, 46). This Biblical teaching stands in sharp contrast to the false teachers who teach and promote the “universal reconciliation” (salvation) of all of God’s creatures in the end.

Satan’s Future

Abyss. After the seven years of the tribulation (Daniel 9:27; See Jeremiah 30:7; Matthew 24:15ff) the devil will be captured by a low ranking angel and will be bound in the Abyss for 1,000 years while the Lord Jesus Christ rules on/over the earth (Revelation 20:1-6; Isaiah 9:6, 7). But when the 1,000 years are over the devil will be released from the Abyss for a brief time. He will gather to himself those who inwardly rebelled against Christ during His 1,000 year reign on earth (Revelation 20:7-9). Then Christ will cast the devil, his angels (demons) and the unbelievers into the lake of fire where they will suffer forever (Revelation 20:10). God is a righteous and holy God and must/will sentence the unbelievers to that awful place. There are no second chances to be saved once a person dies (Hebrews 9:27). Don’t be misled by false teachers who teach otherwise. God cannot lie (Titus 1:2). His Word is truth (John 17:17).

Conclusion: Therefore, if you still are a child of the devil (John 8:44; 1 John 3:9, 10), you need to be “born again from above” (John 3:3-6) so you can become a child of God by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ who died for your sins…and rose again bodily on the third day (Acts 16:31; 1 Corinthians 15:3, 4). Believers need to “Be sober, be vigilant; because our adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. [Having submitted yourself to God, and having put on the whole armor of God], resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world” (1 Peter 5:8, 9; James 4:7; Ephesians 6:10-17).
