This is the Gospel (Good News) that we must believe today to be saved from hell to heaven:
“Christ [the God-man] died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again [bodily] the third day according to the Scriptures…” (1 Corinthians 15:3, 4).
The means by which we are saved: “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ [the God-man], and you will be saved…” (Acts 16:31). Note: We are NOT saved by our good works or by faith plus our good works.
“For by grace [unmerited favor from God] you have been saved through faith [by believing in the Christ of the Scriptures through the Gospel], and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:8-10).
It is not enough for us to know and give mental assent to these facts; we must transfer our faith and trust from anyone else or anything else over to the Lord Jesus Christ alone if we are to be saved.

What’s Next – Once You’ve Been Saved?
Baptism/Immersion. This is to let other people know that we have placed our faith and trust in Christ alone for our salvation (Acts 8:38). It is a picture of our death, burial, and resurrection with Christ (Galatians 2:20).
Other responsibilities: See our Bible Study Book Marker at www.kelseypeach.com.
Help. If you have questions/comments, contact us here or through our website. We’re here to assist those who are teachable and willing to change (2 Timothy 2:2, 15; 3:16, 17).
