Some cultivate the ground; others plant the seeds. Still others may come along and water them. But it is God Who causes dead seeds to come to life and increase (1 Corinthians 3:6). “…Salvation is of the LORD” (Jonah 2:9). All unsaved people are spiritually dead and need eternal life (Ephesians 2:1).
If you’ve been saved by God’s grace through faith in Christ and the Gospel, what have you been doing to spread the Good News concerning Christ’s death for our sins and His bodily resurrection?
Christ needs believers to be His witnesses. Don’t let the devil intimidate you (2 Timothy 1:7; 1 Peter 5:8). God said, “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it” (Isaiah 55:11).
“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12).
“For I [the Apostle Paul] am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek” (Romans 1:16).
